Mrnrfan182
I may be veering off topic a touch but I feel there's a substanial difference between gltiching and exploiting. For the purpose of this discussion I consider a glitch to be more a deliberate "breaking" of the game. These usually involve a series of steps that "trick" the game into thinking something has or has not happened. I'm personally against these methods and don't employ them. I'm not afraid of the Rockstar Ban Hammer, I just want there to be a reason for me to keep playing. Glitching millions would ruin that for me. An exploit (again, in the spirit of this conversation) is more an oversight on the developer's behalf that involves no extra work for the gamer and is still lucrative or beneficial. Take for example the period of time in which you could buy the karin pickup for 3k, add a FREE horn and sell it for a profit. People were filling garages with those things and then selling them off. There were no steps taken to "break"' the game. The players were simply abiding by the rules set in place. In a situation like this, were it proven to be legit, I see no reason to be upset with someone for taking advantage of the opportunity. It'll be patched quickly and in the 24 - 48 hours it's effective you'd be wise to profit from it. If you're not on board with that, that's understandable. KoingWolf
Oh wow, that's a nasty one. If it holds up it means millions as quick as a few minutes... For sure you're gonna get caught and you're gonna lose it all if you abuse this. Really? Do all the cheating people who drop bags of money get caught too? Somehow I doubt this. All? Of course not. People slip through the cracks all the time, most? Absolutely. Look at all the prominent cheats of the last few PC trainers and spawn stuff, etc. ALL of them have been extremely vocal and warning others to be very careful how they spawn in money. Money bags are even considered one of the quickest ways to get yourself caught, actually. Seems the new thing as far as safety from banning goes is to drop money on yourself from above, with varying times between that.
Lamborghini1335
If anyone here is on PC, I can do this glitch both ways, X amount of time for you if you give me X amount of time doing it as well. Just PM me a date and time on here.
Mokuakae
You don't think money glitching effects prices in any way? theres no evidence the hyperinflation in gtao is due to money glitches, im sure cashcard sales have more effect on the prices than money glitches do. i mean, how convenient for the yacht to be so cheap...7-9million, right within the $100 cashcard range. even if there were no money glitches ever, prices would still be the same because of the cashcards. how many cashcards would Take Two sell if gtao had the prices like in sp? probably none! expensive stuff are used to increase longevity of the game, give people some long term goal to work toward and to target potential cashcard buyers, like people that just dont have that much time to play the game. Ok, the cost of the new yachts are suspiciously prices to the level of cash cards, yeah sure no coincidence, and the prices of any new things have steadily increased but I don't think there is hyperinflation. In fact I don't think there is actually any inflation at all. A major part would have to be prices of existing items to increase. I'm fairly sure everything costs today exactly what it originally cost when it was released. Snacks are not $100. Every original car is the same price as 2013. Payout have been continually changed, but I don't see inflation.
Shootinalloveryourface
OP won't use the glitch but makes a thread to tell everyone...... Also title should say "PC only". Do PC players even need glitches?
OptiCog
I won't do it. But, money glitcher are selfish and will exploit it to death. Yep, it's totally selfish to want to enjoy the game you bought without grinding for days/weeks like it's your second job or spending real-world money. Yeah about right. I just googled the word. You try? Selfish ˈsɛlfɪʃ/ adjective (of a person, action, or motive) lacking consideration for other people; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure. Don't presume you're relevant enough to be capable of condescending me. I know the definition of selfish. Utilizing a money glitch is not selfish because the only time something is selfish is when it is more than just the person doing it that's involved in their actions or the outcome of said actions. Guess what? It's as selfish as a person who buys Shark Cards or grinds the hell out of missions and heists. Now do get over yourself.

You're a clown and a cheater. Cheating is always selfish, it's all it is. Edited December 18, 2015 by Sencha
