Read the fine text of the Orion. The very idea of a budget yacht is ridiculous. You buy these things to show off "hey, I have the cash to buy one", not "hey, I drooled over this useless thing for a few months just so I can afford it at a halved-but-still-ridiculously-high price".

They did a 25%-off sale in early September along with the rest of the Elitas lineup.

I bought the yacht but will wait for discounts on the penthouses and new cars.

I've already saved millions, won't be buying a yacht.

Hope mansions get released soon along with a helipad that allows you to save a helicopter that is actually useful, ie buzzard, savage.

The sea will be full of ghost yachts . . however one good thing about them is less morons in the city as they disperse to the oceans.

You do realize that the Yachts are already reasonably priced don't you? 8 million gets you the most expensive Yacht (minus upgrades) and a couple million dollars worth of additional toys (helicopter, boats). I see no reason for Rockstar to offer any kind of discount on these items until something bigger, better and newer comes our way.

I didn't spend much time on my Yacht today, I tried my best to recoupe my losses by taking advantage of contact missions, heists, adversary modes, and the new VIP jobs. When the day was over I finally visited my new home, stood on the deck, leaned on the railing and looked out at Los Santos. The lobby was at war, jets and helicopters battled it out, bounties were everywhere, but I was protected on my heavily armed statement of wealth. And as I got ready to leave GTA:O for the night I thought...damn, this thing is cool...totally worth every penny.

The Aquarius Yacht is by far the best deal I have seen in GTA. Ok, so on average it costs just under 9 million with upgrades, but you see, heres the thing. Along with the Aquarius Yacht, you get 4 Seasharks, a Toro, a Dinghy and the new SuperVolito Carbon Helicopter. Thats over $3.000.000 of additional vehicles... for nothing!

They only did a discount like a week after a DLC dropped ONCE and that with Lowriders the rest of the DLC you have to wait a few months.

By the time christmas stuff (next week) i should already be with 10 again, and after that no more dlc in the near future

 

The yatch was 8mil and set the bar for the most (non-gold) expensive stuff
