I've met plenty of friendly people. Usually they're lower level or threatened by other people's presence. Just because of this one thing doesn't mean you should just say it's impossible for nice people to meet. Deathmatch play isn't cool, but whatever.

I accepted a invite to a yacht and it turned into a death match right after the yacht owner did that. I managed to live because I seen the sticky bomb by the hot tub and moved away. I quickly went into passive and watched the massacre.

 

I no longer accept yacht and bodygaurd invites due to seeing people getting trolled for a K/D boost.

No. The thing that yacht owners should be more worried about is inviting randoms to their yacht and letting them use the hot tub. I swear I'll piss in every one I get chance to.

 

That's about how serious I take the "threat" described in this thread. Anyone would think that inviting people to your apartment yacht and then kicking them out turning off defences was new.

not like you'll never respawn, how is the fear of being killed (in a game where you are basically immortal) stop people from having fun, playing with others and trying new things?

 

here are some scenarios where you will still live -

 

- they kill you, you go passive, bird taunt, go away

- they kill you, you get revenge, gunfight breaks out

- they don't kill you, you have fun, mess around on boat

 

either way you will respawn, I'm never afraid of someone killing me 1st or at all - ITS A GAME!!!

No, only Blasterman and a few other players care about it. Most of the killing is just that - killing. More than the vast majority don't actually care about the numbers. They kill - the get a hit of dopamine. They want to kill again. The end.

WARNING ! theres a shady new trick yacht owners are doing. They give out invites to the whole lobby. Once players are in they ask everyone to leave the yacht where they are forced to walk outside onto deck.

 

Defenses are down/ weapon wheels are disabled on every player so everyone is friendly and chill, We all get into the hot tub and have fun

 

Yacht owner suddenly takes defenses down and a friend of his bombs the whole hot tub killing everyone in there instantly. At least 8 of us died, Others around the pool were gunned down. Yacht owner then puts defenses back up so no one can take revenge.

 

I took the chance to trust and chill and be friendly for the first time from everyone here encouraging me to try it out and that's what I get, lol

 

Time to go back and treat the whole map like a death match, Im done with being lured in for friendly role play. Im done, ill never be convinced this game can have friendly get togethers , no way, no how, nor ever.

OP, i also think that yachts defence system is so ridicolously OP. Its like it has a fu*kin invisibile barrier that instantly blows up everything nearby. Rockstar should nerf it, and replace it with real weapons like SAMS missiles, not some sort of magical sh*t.If people want to enjoy their yachts, they should stay on invite/solo lobbies. No when You Enable Yacht Defense, the Yachts Defense system takes over to protect everyone from each other and others not on the Yacht........with Yacht Defense OFF, its up to you to defend yourself
