Honestly that "Take the yacht" VIP mission is so fun

Yeah I think it's great also, especially when the whole lobby comes after your Organisation.

Been in quite a few as defense, pretty much a few bodyguards can easily hold down a boat

Yep, and you can't do it because lol no cover. Also, you forgot homing rocket launchers and miniguns, which are great at removing you before you get on the boat

Yeah it's awesome. Me and two of my bodyguards flew a chopper to a yacht, parachuted in and captured the top deck:

I had the most awesome moment doing this thing today. I was playing with a friend and we saw a VIP all by himself so we joined him. I said to him to start this challenge. All started well we were in a lobby with 12-13 people. They were by small group a bit scattered around the map. No one was coming so we stopped looking at our map and then next to us in the water we saw a bunch of dot appearing. Basically what happen, we were us 3 and all the other players in the lobby were in the same crew(I realise that when i saw all of them appear at once). So they all took a yacht invite and the yacht got moved close to our yacht. They were around 9-10 players attacking us from the yacht with sniper, from the shore with helicopters and from the yacht and the shore with boats and seashark. They showed up when there was 7 min on the clock and they took control of the boat when there was 2 min on the clock. It was a really intense fight haha. After the event they left and there was blood and bullet holes everywhere on the ship. Best time I've had for a while on GTA Online

I like parachuting onto the roof of a yacht and go in guns blazing.
Works 9 times out of 10.

I have a few buddies who rotate being my bodyguards when I'm the VIP and we love doing this.

 

So far, nobody has been able I take the yacht, were successful each time. My buddies are great shots with the sniper rifles and I got that minigun game on point.

 

In the end the yacht is riddled with bullet holes, burn marks and blood splattered all over the teak deck. And it's not a bad way to earn 30K.

 

This is hands down, one of my most favorite things to do in the game.
