Moronic. I love how they try to position their idiot sabotage as some great act of anti-corporate rebellion: "We're just demonstrating how bad their DDOS protection is!!!!" Yeah, we know it's not that good. That has been proven repeatedly. You don't have to f*ck up our enjoyment just to prove an already-proven point - especially when it's obvious that the REAL reason you're doing it is for the attention your mommies won't give you.

 

I kind of hope these idiots do it, and that the FBI tosses some of them in prison for their efforts.

Yep. Origin, on the other hand, does the opposite, yet the so-called Origin loyalists can't help but bleed their own money dry to EA, only to find out that no games from EA's Origin ever comes to them.

They do not care about system security, if they did they would have already have done something productive to help increase security.

 

Instead they are going to shut down xbl and msn on the day when a lot of people will be playing and are doing it for no other reason than they are arseholes.

Okay, I can see how hackers (or whatever you want to call them) wants to take down Xbox LIVE or PSN because corporation n' sh*t but Steam?! Steam is God. Why would anyone attack Steam?

I'd be pissed if LIVE is down during Xmas, though. It would make it the 3rd year that I'd miss the snow. Never saw the damn thing. :/

It's funny, last year part of the arguement was that they wanted to stop gaming around Christmas so people spent time with their family.

When in turn it was stupidly hypocritical, they deprived so many people of online gaming with their new consoles & games they got for Christmas.

 

So really they weren't helping at all, only hurting.
