Phantom Squad Threatens To Take Down PSN/Xbox Live During Christmas

To be honest, even if it would be a week, I don't care.

The only thing that sucked last year was missing out on exclusive items, like the special crates, the stocking mask and the snow. That's it. That's all there was to it. And R* tried to compensate by bringing those things back so... I don't have the feeling that I missed out on anything last year!

 

If it does happen, we can start the official GTA Text Online here on this forum, like for example:

 

Person A: I join free mode, get in my Kuruma and drive to the nearest clothes shop.

Person B: On the way there I hunt you down, throw a sticky at you and press left on the d-pad.

Person A: I go into passive mode.

Person B: I text you a bunch of times: "why you hiding you pusseh, fight like a man!"

Person C: I call my Hydra and spawn trap all of you suckers.

So their logic is that Sony should protect against DDOS, and they are going to prove it.

That, and the fact that you just can't effectively protect against DDoS, especially on servers with millions of users already on. As i said earlier, if they know how to do it, it would make them at least millionaires. Maybe even billionaires. Pretty much every site on the net would be interested in that tech, but since it's impossible for end users to block service requests BEFORE it hits their end, it's just petty act of assholism. Yeah, i made that word up.
