would AP pistol be too op for this?

 

what about two different guns? like ap in right tech 9 in left?

How about a tradeoff? If you dual wield, maybe you shouldn't be able to combat roll.

 

Might mix things up a bit and add an element of choice rather than provide yet another dominant strategy in this game.

If you're a passenger, you should also be able to duel wield drive by.

What's the point? What purpose would it serve?

Whats the point in having more cars?

Most of them run the same, sound the same, and grip the same.

Be largely unused I think. Same as most guns in the game already are. Especially in the auto aim world where people only use whatever has the best lock on range.

 

No one's going to run around with 2 micro smgs or even auto pistols with there crappy lock range instead of a longer ranged assault rifle as they'd be dead a dozen times before they even got a shot off..

i think it would change nothing really. those with it will be more OP and feed off the lesser players (like normal) and those with it will just end up like a normal fight would since both would be equal (like normal).

 

so basicly there would be more code to create and add, but the game play would still end in the same as it is now, only you would use two weapons instead of one. nothing to gain but some extra fancy fighting animations really.

I think Pistols need to be rebalanced. Handguns are generally the go-to weapons for criminals, but in this game their laughably weak and horribly slow-firing. Semi auto pistols (excluding the Pistol .50) should have their fire rate increased significantly and the their damage (including the Pistol .50) increased by around twenty percent.

 

Right now, the only ones that really feel right are the Heavy Revolver and AP Pistol, which just sucks.

Combat, vintage ,SNS and normal pistol could use this.

 

 

This would up their firing rate... but they could just slow down the reload rate to balance it out.

 

Would look cool as hell and be fun to use.

The problem with most of the hand guns is the way the actual shooting is scripted. We can't really control the firing rate. SO if you want to shoot faster you can't.

 

One of the reasons the AP feels so good is because its auto. You can sort of quick fire by pressing the trigger faster instead of just holding it.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I hate the way all of the semi-auto weapons are actually full-auto and locked into that firing rate.
