Well we certainly don't need more muscle cars anymore because it's the biggest class in game

I'm just saying that rockstar could tone down on the muscle car releases and focus on other car classes too, I mean lowrider update was exclusive to muscle cars FFS!!! And I'm sure I can't be the only person on the world who thinks that we need to focus on other car classes too.

Okay lets get this sorted then, car classes and their numbers, custom (lowriders) and armored models count as separate models from their normal ones, only counting cars that you can legitimately store in your garage, only counting cars available to Online players. (no Duke 'o Death)

 

Sports - 29

Muscle - 27

Sedans - 27

Motorcycles - 21

SUV - 21

Off-Road - 18

Sports Classic - 15

Coupes - 13

Super - 11

Vans - 9

Compacts - 6

Industrial - 1

Utility - 1

 

Like I said there are more cars in these classes but they are either not available to Online, or can not be stored in garages (some can however be selected for races)

 

For the rest you guys can do with these numbers what you want.

The wiki isn't the greatest place to check for that stuff... Admittedly I haven't explored it too much lately to see if things have been changed, but a lot of their car resemblance things were stretching things pretty far when I last browsed through a lot of them.

Because a muscle car is a mans car, you have a huge V8 engine that could outpull a battleship (preferably a big block hemi) some of the most sensational designs ever put to paper, a 4 speed with pistol grip, throw a pack of skittles on the floor and you have your manufacturer colours, bucket seats, give it a menacing name like charger,cougar eliminator, barracuda, firebird, and make flyers for your neighbours suggesting they buy earplugs, and the sheer childish joy of listening to that intoxicating, powerful chunky idle of magna flow straight pipes! Sorry for the rant, but you can clearly tell where my keys hang.

also about the cars debate or whatever: i think they should add more classic japanese/european cars but like, im not gonna get pissed if they dont. i DO kinda wished they had brought some more cars back from gta iv though. are there even any fan favorites left for them to bring or are they gonna have to start using 3d era fan favorite cars

We need this car in the game. We also need more supers, compacts, classics, trucks and armoured because this is gta baby! we love cars!!

We love cars indeed...really hope this comes tomorrow with snow, or even snow tomorrow with the Tampa on Christmas morning around 6a.m. est.. Wierd to see them do the stream before snow and the car aren't available yet..

Well, if we go off of last year's timing for snow, it dropped on December 23rd at 9pm PST (12am EST). They obviously have to update the tunables for the snow to occur. Maybe we'll see it then?

If not 12am EST, it may be 1am or 2am PST (4am or 5am EST). When the holiday content first came out this year, it was a little after 2am PST.

Even as a GM guy, '70-'74 Barracudas are probably my favorite cars, so I would love to see something similar to one added in.

Oh the nostalgia, I will definitely use this colour scheme for my Tampa in the future. This game is the game i spend so much playing with my father was i was a little kid, sharing the keyboard focusing on either the weapons or driving the car, great times

Passive mode still limits your fun. But I just don't see why would anyone want a slower car. Speed doesn't matter to some people. We don't expect speed out of an old muscle car, we want good looking cars and Rockstar has delivered that a lot in the past few updates.

Barracuda love transcends brand loyalty.

 

 

OT though, without the stock grill installed, I don't see enough Dart in this car to be significant. There's one grille that gives it a very vague Mustang look, and that's the one I'll use. It's just a generic, red-blooded American muscle car, and there's nothing wrong with that.
