Never thought I'd say it, but I rather miss the Special Crates that played such a significant part of last year's Festive Surprise. The anticipation of the daily shirt switch and the thrill of the hunt etc....every day for 2+ weeks.

Hunting Pack, Slasher and Extraction are by far the best things to happen to GTA Online (of course not counting the heists) but as an online game this is what R* should focus on, repayable game modes such as these, deathmatches and races (and fixing these).

You sure? I got home around the 27th and the snow had gone! They extended the event but I am fairly sure the snow was gone..

 

 

Yea it was extended till like the 1st, i remember because i actually got over the snow :S

Who knows... The Tampa might be for free on christmas eve or Christmas day and costs 375k afterwards if you didn't get one on either of these two days.

Nah me and my friends haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm done with randoms, so I'll wait till we all get together on that. That's what was great about contact missions, if your friends weren't playing and you didn't feel up to dealing with idiots, you could just do them by yourself. I'm sick of this movement trying to push all of us into playing with eachother. I don't like people in general, and only have a select few people I game with.

Sure, but you can't tell me there's ever been a game mode played anywhere near as much as contact missions. Just me, but if I'm R* I try to capitalize on that popularity and keep coming up with new contact missions. Sure you can add new pvp stuff too, but it just doesn't make sense to completely ignore the massive attraction to contact missions.

Sadly snow is usually in game for about 24-48 hours I think, it usually starts on the 24th and ends on the 25th/26th. Last year they really should have extended it because of the damn hackers!

 

 

Last year it was on the 24th, 25th and the 26th. Because of Lizard Squad Rockstar enabled it again on New Years Eve, and it ended on New Years Night.

Maybe, but what you don't know is that i'm on Xbox 360. Not PC, since it is coming from the screenshots from the Festive Contest... For Old-Gen we can't activate snow on Online like that LOOOOL. :miranda:
