Sentinel Actual
The Schafter here is not an S-Class, its a W212 E-Class, GTA IV's Schafter is an S-Class. The one in GTA V (the original V12 before Rockstar apparently forgot it had a V12 and added in this one which is the same car with the same engine, just tuned to 650hp) is an E-Class, probably a Brabus E based on the V12 engine. The new Schafter V12 is probably meant to be a more heavily tuned Brabus variant. The LWB is probably meant to emulate a Brabus S V12, but Benefactor has always been somewhat of a confusing Mercedes archetype IMHO. Gotta disagree. It's a SWB W221 (Which we never got in North America) with a C216's face. If it was based on the W212 it wouldn't have such large rear arch flares. the W212 never had ones that large where the W221 does. Let me clear this up. This is what the current TBoGT/V Schafters are based off of: Overall shape / Tail lights / Side profile - Mercedes E-Class W212 prior-facelift Front end - Mercedes CL-Class C216 post-facelift V12 engine option / Size - Mercedes S-Class W221 (S65 AMG to be specific) Rims (for the V12 version only) - Mercedes S-Class W221 (AMG models to be specific) Aesthetically, the current Schafters portray no real S-Class styling whatsoever, save for the rims on the V12 version and the interiors which were originally carried over from the old vanilla IV W220/W211/W221 based Schafter. That said, it is Benefactor's flagship sedan; the S-Class is Mercedes' flagship sedan. It also has a V12 engine option, which is only available on Mercedes flagship models (G-Class / SL-Class / CL-Class / S-Class). So the Schafter is based on the Mercedes S-Class only in theory. The original GTA IV Schafter was an S-Class with E-Class elements, specifically a W220 mixed with a W211. However it having a 6.5L V12 was supposed to homage the S65 AMG, whereas the Gen 2 Schafter (GTA V's variant) is meant to evoke the smaller E-Class, with CL-Class features. That car having a V12 is likely meant to reference a Brabus E, which had a V12. The LWB variant is likely meant to be an S-Class archetype, likely the S65 AMG. The new Schafters added in are likely Gen 2.5, a mid cycle refresh of sorts. Gnocchi Flip Flops

Gnocchi Flip Flops
Repainted my Shafter V12. Colour based from this car: That's beautiful. Personally that is my favorite color combo on the newer S-Classes. MatthewH

Un_Mastered
The original Schafter in GTA 5 looked waaaaaay better in The Ballad Of Gay Tony. Just stating my opinion here☺. I just bought the regular Schafter V12 and i instantly fell in love with that roaring sound when you start it up. Havent taken it to LSC yet, but i will be doing so soon. LogScottWood
I bought the armoured V12. Can't say the armour makes any difference to be honest, I still got wrecked by bullets. It is mightily quick in a straight line though and it sounds rather tasty. I hadn't really been round by garages that much in the past six months - when I did a mini tour on Friday, I was surprised to see i've been collecting and upgrading various four door cars. It must be because i'm now a dad and therefore a boring bastard. Really makes you think. Hope this helps, Log Fatsanchez
We Are Ninja
The only reason why this car is so popular, and even more popular than the Verlierer, is because of the fact that it can outrun a T20 in a straight line. And the fact that Broughy gave it a thumbs up. Apparently, as far as the GTA car community is concerned, the dude walks on water. Gridl0k
I wish there were more Silvers in the game, they all look really flat. Some of the blues are more silver than the silvers. And please, R*, adjust the lighting in LSC so it's not twice as bright as anywhere else in the game? slowburn29

Ukeman5
The thing is wonderful beast glad I picked up a swb. Can we just all appreciate how nice the armoured versions of the new cars are? I have a cog lwb armoured and I just love how come people still take a pot shot. Basically paint your armoured car a dark colour and I guess people don't notice the plating!
