If youre grinding for yacht be sure to register as VIP and do the sightseer, I do Cleaning the Cat house on timer and then Sightseer . Oops, I meant preferably do heists or Criminal Mastermind with friends first and foremost but Im in bad sport so Im grinding missions alone. Congrats youre almost there. @Redfirebird, thanks Ill consider, Im in a LSPD crew now only cause of their crew emblem. Ithaca Posted January 14, 2016 Share Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) Finally grinded out the VIP missions, Trash Talk and others since just before Christmas to get enough for a yacht. Rather than saving $8+ million, I decided against the black and red with stripe lighting... went for something more subtle. The green look on the water for the black yachts put me off for now but in the future I might switch, I have the standard green lighting though. Might make myself broke and have blue instead, we'll see.Anyway, here's some Snapmatic pictures of when I first saw it, first exploring it (unfortunately it was dark) and then first time in the day. They're nothing special to existing yacht owners but I'm ashamed to admit I was pretty excited rushing to the shore to see it.I know it's pretty sad but it felt awesome, I'd never been on a yacht before now except the Slasher job and the heist which features one (Series A?).Pics in the spoiler if you're interested: Turned the corner to see it for the first time, was pretty awesome: Getting awesomer Daylight for the first time... It's pretty brief, and only in daytime, but might be of help if you're in the market for one. I still see some "Galaxy Super Yacht" names But I had a chance to walk around someone's Orion yacht to see the differences. "Classy" name If you like to party with all your friends, I guess the Orion has all the dance floor space you could want The electronic masts on all three ships are different: Orion's (tall) Pisces' (a little shorter with more radar domes) Aquarius' (short over arch) Another amusing thing (especially if others are aboard) to do on someone else's yacht is to get in the passenger seat of their helicopter if the defenses are set to "on". The ship will see you as an airborne intruder (even though you're still on the pad) and after the warning will fire rockets that will hit the sides of the ship. No damage, but jarring to have the explosions going on. Sorry, I don't have video or photos of that. Other ships' names I've seen lately: Cthulu's Kracken Belgium Yacht IM_YO_DADDY01 U.S.S Green Gatsby (the green paint with yellow stripes) Beasy yacht James Bonds Turf [sic] Playa's in Paradise (not sure if they really wanted that apostrophe or didn't know the rule) Money, INC USA yachtsman SS Lee Luuk Van Der Made (Netherlands flag. I have the blue lighting on the outside of the yacht with that greenish touch on the inside. The green ruins it for me and It looks weird at night time, at least, personally.
