Now that its been out a month or so the "luxury" effect may have worn off is it still worth it or will it be forgotten. Consider I will be using it as a spawn location for instant access to guns and ammo as well as a helicopter after spawning, I will be putting it on the right side of map in rocky area or by the docks ( to avoid much random confrontation ) As well I to some extent plan to Invite friend on and party and do the Yacht defense event as from my experience its easy to win as defenders. Is it truly worth it? Truly, truly? No. If you must have it, cheap out and get the simplest one. It'd be just as good. There are true downsides: 1) You spawn without a vehicle and don't have access to a garage. 2) You spawn in a spot that's almost always out in essentially the middle of nowhere. 3) It can make you seasick. No joke, I'm not particularly sensitive to this but the perspective inside is always shifting and I can see some people hating that with a passion. 4) It is crazy expensive. 5) If you're not on it, or using it, or near it, it has no effect on your game whatsoever, so "out of sight, out of mind, waste of money," in a way. On the other hand, it is really worth the money compared to some other GTA DLC content. Is it worth a handful of way over-priced sports classics, supercars, helicopters or planes? Definitely. It's a huge apartment, it comes with custom boats and aircraft, it's fairly customizable and it's great to own. It's a hell of a lot more worth it than the Luxor or Swift Deluxe are. Hell, hell of a lot more. So f*ckin' much more. I'm really glad I own it now, but I put in a few weeks of grinding to get it, it wasn't easy, and I wouldn't recommend it unless people really want it. I like watercraft, and I didn't mind the grind, so it was a no-brainer. But it's not without its obvious drawbacks. I'm hoping to finish my grind today or tomorrow for the one I priced up, it's taken what feels like a life time. I don't know if I'll stick to what colour I wanted after seeing some of these. I've seen them from a distance and I don't remember noticing much of a green colour but I'll try to see one in game up close before I choose it. budcat Posted January 13, 2016 Share Posted January 13, 2016 I will say this, as an Aquarius owner, unless you're insistent on owning the helicopter that comes with the Aquarius, which honestly is a jalopy of a helicopter, I'd just buy the Pisces. Ive been on a handful of yachts, not even knowing who the owner was. So wheres the brag rights if they dont see you as the owner right away? Everyone tries to be fun, funny or raunchy sexual themes are popular but makes you look like youre 12 years old,, why not just use your gamertag? Only accepted invites and I long forget the name of the yacht owner right after I see the invite. Yacht owners here on the forum have also requested for strangers to leave their boat alone so I respect that . Just seems so childish making silly names for such a majestic boat but live and yet live, were all children at heart I guess. BTW, I had that exact same Firebird as my first car. Mint condition, 30 thousand original miles on it. 74 Pontiac Trans Am, white with black/ blue bird.
