I'm a bit disappointed with the choice of the yacht setup. It should have been like 3 completely different yacht arrangment that are around the same price and after choosing that you choose which vehicles Package you want with it. I really like the helipad at the back on the Orion but it doesnt come with any helicopter on it.... The perfect setup for me, would have been, helipad at the back like on the orion. Hot tub on the upper deck (where the helipad is on the pisces and aquarius). After playing this game for days (I finished the story five times on all 4 consoles, twice on PS-4 (on which one gamesave is at 99,25 percent; just missing tennis, golf and the last two weapons at the shooting range which I am unable to do) and days spent on online (Level 120) I seem to have acclimatized more to San Andreas than to my hometown, over these past two years. So after buying the new, customizable, appartment and the three V12 Benefactors today I went back to my yacht, that was moured directly opposite Del Perro Pier. I drove to the end of the pier to see my yacht and got out to go down the steps and swim over when I saw a guitar player at the top of said steps. It was getting dark and a nice reddish sky was appearing too, so I stayed to take some pictures and watch this guy.. Then one person of the audience watching this guitar player said: "Wow, have you seen that yacht, there ?" He then gets a female answering in a jealous tone: "Yes". That made me smile, but I didn't know that there will be something better waiting for me on the yacht. So I swam to my yacht and for the first time I took a better look at it. All the details and so-on. I found my way into the bar and was greeted by the bar maid. She poured me a drink, which I drank. I looked-on for a little bit, turned around and went. Turning around I could see, through the windows, the lit-up skyline of Los Santos in the night and I felt, again, this game is amazing in every little detail. Going out of the bar, I could hear the bar maid saying "Thank you" in her firm but polite manner. I was hit by a hammer: All those days spent in this game, seeing sh..it happening and all. And this simple "Thank you" for drinking a drink on my own ship, just made me crack-up and stay-put in the door-frame with the bar behind me. I don't need any secret or easter egg anymore. It just can't get any better than what I have experienced. And I haven't even -played- I was just wandering about, minding my own business. Such a well written, beautiful post. If you're on your yacht you can enter passive mode as normally or you can turn on the missile defense system which instantly puts you in passive when on your yacht, so you should be fine. The action on the streets is so intense and has been for years whereas the action near the yacht wil dwindle down after a few days and in two weeks, nothing, Maybe one or two players an hour might try and visit, I aint buying a yacht to come across one player an hour. I had just under 5 million to start with. The reason I sold all my high end cars is because I use cars as money saved. ( I know you lose lots when you sell them) but nevertheless it's easy money to generate when you want something new. Like alot of people here, I'm rank 270 ish. Started from the beginning, had the billionaire days and thankfully that ended. I've bought everything and raced every race. It's just so easy to earn a million nowadays and I don't even play every day. Cars can always be rebought. I bought cars because that was all there was to buy. Now I wanted a yacht :-) Amd your point about the novelty wearing off I don't agree. I want to use the yacht as a apartment /safehouse. Any extra shenanigans that comes with it is a bonus in my eyes. Besides, it's the only safe house with a ten times better view of the action. If I want to drive around town I'll call my mechanic or I'll steal a car. Nowadays all I tend to do is order my harrier when I hear someone verbally abusing others over Mike amd then proceed to farm them. Side missions and heists also play a big part. This yacht is worth its price, unlike the Gold Luxor, which only gave you a nicer interior, cigars and champagne. This, this is a floating APARTMENT!! Complete with a French bartender, an Australian captain, and strippers on demand!! What is better than throwing hottub parties with the ladies in the lobby, chat with them and such? They even got the "leaning on the rail while watching the sun set" thing right. I usually like to drop anchor offshore from the city just to admire the city lights and such. Occasionally I like to stay in my stilt mansions but the yacht is my new home for now. I also love how there are weapons available in the bedrooms, that is a nice detail. A few Aquarius owners came for a visit and after a while decided they too were going to downgrade to the Pisces. In my opinion the Pisces is a cleaner looking yacht, the helicopter and boat you get with it are better, the deck layout is better (there's a nice balcony connecting the side walkways in front of the cabin so if you go down the wrong one like I always do, you can just hop over and down to the front) and the interior is the same anyway. Also, the front helipad is capable of housing a swift or any other large helicopter (apart from the annihilator since it has a tail wheel) unlike the Aquarius. After reading this I went looking for a Pisces across multiple PS4 lobbies, I only found one (and a single Orion), everybody uses the Aquarius.Anyway I now agree with everything in the above quote so I've 'refit' my yacht to a Pisces, but kept all other options the same.
