Yachts are located in one of twelve different locations, and you have to pay $25K to move them to another one in which a cutscene will play where the captain of your yacht pilots it for you. Yachts are basically mobile apartments that are decked out better than the stilt houses and apartments are. After playing this game for days (I finished the story five times on all 4 consoles, twice on PS-4 (on which one gamesave is at 99,25 percent; just missing tennis, golf and the last two weapons at the shooting range which I am unable to do) and days spent on online (Level 120) I seem to have acclimatized more to San Andreas than to my hometown, over these past two years. So after buying the new, customizable, appartment and the three V12 Benefactors today I went back to my yacht, that was moured directly opposite Del Perro Pier. I drove to the end of the pier to see my yacht and got out to go down the steps and swim over when I saw a guitar player at the top of said steps. It was getting dark and a nice reddish sky was appearing too, so I stayed to take some pictures and watch this guy.. Then one person of the audience watching this guitar player said: "Wow, have you seen that yacht, there ?" He then gets a female answering in a jealous tone: "Yes". That made me smile, but I didn't know that there will be something better waiting for me on the yacht. So I swam to my yacht and for the first time I took a better look at it. All the details and so-on. I found my way into the bar and was greeted by the bar maid. She poured me a drink, which I drank. I looked-on for a little bit, turned around and went. Turning around I could see, through the windows, the lit-up skyline of Los Santos in the night and I felt, again, this game is amazing in every little detail. Going out of the bar, I could hear the bar maid saying "Thank you" in her firm but polite manner. I was hit by a hammer: All those days spent in this game, seeing sh..it happening and all. And this simple "Thank you" for drinking a drink on my own ship, just made me crack-up and stay-put in the door-frame with the bar behind me. I don't need any secret or easter egg anymore. It just can't get any better than what I have experienced. And I haven't even -played- I was just wandering about, minding my own business. A few Aquarius owners came for a visit and after a while decided they too were going to downgrade to the Pisces. In my opinion the Pisces is a cleaner looking yacht, the helicopter and boat you get with it are better, the deck layout is better (there's a nice balcony connecting the side walkways in front of the cabin so if you go down the wrong one like I always do, you can just hop over and down to the front) and the interior is the same anyway. Also, the front helipad is capable of housing a swift or any other large helicopter (apart from the annihilator since it has a tail wheel) unlike the Aquarius. Hopefully they continue to improve on the features making it more than just a glorified spawn point, the addition of a heist room or some sort of content/missions that are unique and based around the yacht would be very cool. I don't like that it's accessible to anyone, and that passive players have freeroam; even though this gave me the opportunity to get a better look I know if I spend that much I wouldn't want anyone to be able to board it. They'll most likely have an event weekend coming up with discounts, perhaps thenWhere the price is concerned, think about what you're getting. A three bedroom apartment with a bar, larger living space, a hot tub and a huge deck The ability to relocate said apartment whenever you want A missile defense system Multiple water vehicles A very expensive chopper Now, if none of that interests you, that's fine. But for someone who maybe didn't have all those things, but wanted them, that's a great deal. Myself for example. A couple months back I decided I wanted a boat and chopper. I didn't own either yet. So I dropped nearly 6 million on the Marquis and gold helicopter. Now, I don't regret buying either. I wanted the Marquis for the hell of it, and I really enjoy the chopper. But had I known that this DLC would be coming, obviously I would have saved my money. All told, I think the prices are extremely fair. At most, you'd be spending around 10 million, and I'd say that's dirt cheap when considering what you're paying for. Especially given how expensive many of us expected yachts to be. Also sold some unwanted sh*t so I have spent 9M on a yacht which I called it "Sevastopol" which named after a Hero City from Crimea and the Russian flag flies on my yacht.. Imagine if there are yachts that fly the flag of countries that don't even have seas like Belarus, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Bolivia, Paraguay while the countries that do have seas were not included in the list of flags. Well thats funny Nice name for your yacht, moi tovarisch. Pity we can't use Cyryllic letters ... Sorry for incoming offtopicness. There is a 2015 Russian/Ukraine co-production called "Battle of Sevastopol". Aaaash Posted December 17, 2015 Share Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Well I invited a stripper to my yacht and within a few minutes there were about 20 people in the bar area of my yacht having something that resembled a party. In the early hours of the next morning we all moved outside to the hot tub where things slowly got a bit out of hand. Someone just randomly suicide'd in the hot tub which I can only assume was an overdose of some sort. Someone tried to steal the chopper while under the influence, he did not make it too far. Eventually, by day break, the party had fizzled out, most people had left and I was left with the aftermath... The police started to arrive for some reason.. drugs? noise complaint? who knows. A submarine was involved at some point. Someone parked a jet ski on the deck somehow and yes, that's an inverted sea plane. Foot note: For those of you that don't understand humour; don't take this post too seriously. A load of players in a public lobby spontaneously gathered on my yacht and had a bunch of fun all night and I decided to spice up the write up a bit.
