What do the different colored blips on the map mean with an x on them? They aren't red or shades of red, they are an orange color.

 

They're Organizations. So a bunch of green blips together are in an Organization, a few pink ones are in an Organization, et cetera.

Sorry but um... meh. I am very glad I could get one of the stilted houses (wayyyyy too cheap to be a mansion) But in the end it was VERY cosmetic and nothing else. I knew the ship would be beyond my means so not upset about that at all but as I return to see what is up I come to find out... not so much.

 

Sorry guys just the hype for it was far greater than the results in my book. I wish I could have chosen similar fopr my new home.

My update is 8,9 GB and it's downloading from zero... It will take another 6 hours it says, it's been already downloading for 90 mins. This is stupid, it'll take for ever.

I played yesterday GTA:O, so I was updated up until this update.

Why buy a yacht when you can sneak on somebody else's in passive and steal their volitos lol. A lot of empty yachts floating out there while their owner's are on missions of in the city, fun to explore and check out all the different options!

I also noticed that the new adversary mode features a new variant of the Valkyrie, which is beige and sans Explosive cannon.

 

EDIT: Can be found in creator, and is known as the Valkyrie MOD.0.

Apartment customization is pretty weak. Was hoping we could select our own furniture,paint and lighting but im glad we got at least this

What I mean is, Rockstar love to hype up a new update, charge top dollar for people to buy it on day one, then down the line they do a weekend special where they give us a 25% rebate (discount) on vehicles and apartments. I'm Gonna hold off and just do bodyguard missions with a few friends etc. like I said, Sharkstar caught me out on the Low Riders update with the rebates, ain't happening again. I can wait for my high end yacht with all the trimmings.

Was wondering this myself. But I think the yacht counts as a property because you have to buzz it to get inside.

Funny because I work (right now typing this from work btw) so I don't play "24 hours a day" and yet I have enough to afford a yacht, some of the new vehicles, probably most of the new clothing and a new customizable apartment (and maybe switch a couple old ones), become a VIP and still have some millions left.

 

SO, the thing is, why do people complain so goddamn much? Rockstar is one of the few developers out there who actually doesn't charge for DLCs (please no "oh but you have to PLAY and GRIND in order to get money OR get a Shark Card that's the trick!!!!" BS) and yet there is always a Debbie Downer complaining about how Rockstar is cheating on all the players and whatnot.

 

Rant done, I think the update is great. I'll be buying the most expensive Yacht I guess and customizing it, a bit sad that doesn't let you store cars tho'.

It's great to be able to own a 5th property now which means 10 more spaces (i'm always running out!) and 6 spawn points including the yacht as some mentioned already.

 

Interested to see how the VIP thing is going to work out.
