I want to be excited for yachts, but there's nothing to do in the ocean.

How about be on your yacht? Seems like this is going to increase traffic out there now. I can see people trying to take them out and having to defend them, people coming out to visit, etc. Maybe a map extension/island is in the offing?

I guess there's the other players but you can be with them on land. They better add actually unique activities to the yacht.

Multiple yachts together? That's just asking for a Hydra attack.Thats what the anti-air attack system is for.Yeah that's real effective against the jets.

 

 

Considering that none of us have experienced even one second of the defense system, I'd say none of us actually knows. If Rockstar is smart, they'll have a system that is significantly better than a lone homing launcher. They don't want players laying out probably tens of millions for a feature they won't even be able to enjoy thanks to the worst assholes in the game.

Yeah, I watched one earlier and he was talking about the exhaust on the new Cobra "wrapping around the body under the door"... Uhh, do you mean sidepipes dude? I mean, it's not new, even to GTA, and they labeled it "sidepipes" in Los Santos Customs, so it's not like he's new to the term. Just clueless I guess.

 

Still, he does put in the work. I can't imagine making two videos (or more) per day week after week.

This news confirms earlier leaks from respected GTA Online expert DomisLive. Dom previously revealed there would be new weapons coming in a DLC update as well as the news of being able to buy yachts. According to the video, yachts can be purchased, and their colors can be picked. There are also some lines of code pointing to customizing the yacht's interior, as well as the boat's name and what flag you are flying. There even is code pointing to the option to upgrade the yacht into a super yacht. Wow, I really didn't expect this to go in this direction. I cited a source (I Digitial Times) who cited him, not vouching for his character. And even if he is hated here and has zero credibility it doesn't mean these reasonable assertions aren't accurate. Get a grip people.

If that defense system can shoot down a Besra laden with sticky bombs and prevent it from doing a Kamikaze then I'll be impressed.

Depends of how many sticky bombs you put on it. The explosion of the Besra itself usually doesn't help because it's delayed.

 

I use it as a last resort. Good against jet griefers that are working together.

Does this always happen to this forum when an update comes out? Suddenly only praise of Rockstar is allowed? I guarantee the complaint thread will be top of the page when the update comes out and people didn't get what they thought they were getting, but for now let's call anything but praise bitching.

 

I'm pointing out that there's nothing to do in the ocean, and that there's nothing to do in buildings. I'm hoping that Rockstar will add actual activities to the yacht. You know, justify their existence a little. What's the point of a giant boat if it's got no more to it than a Toro?

 

And you wait until the update. You'll see how much "bitching" people have in them.

I haven't read this whole thread BUT, if found something. Many people thought that there was a remake of the Baller, but when you look close, you see there are armored plates on the side. So a Armored Baller?

I hope when we're able to buy mansions there's at least some indoor activities. Because tbh I don't really do a lot in my house to begin with and I'll feel like I wasted my money after a week. I'd like it if we could play pool or something, that would be cool.

Pool would be amazing. It'd be a new level of interactivity for the player. The ability to add pool tables, dart pads, and other minigames (perhaps a Qub3d arcade machine?) to our properties would be awesome.

 

This. I've been waiting so long for pool to come back to GTA, and it would give players a huge reason to hang out in the apartments.

What I'd really, REALLY like to see is Slasher mode or Every Bullet Counts that you can host in your own apartment, mansion, or yacht.
