Which gangs you love and you hate in GTA IV ?

Love-

The Italian Mafia, Yardies, AOD (I love those Fat bikers, I don't know why ? Lol) and the McReary Crime Family. The Spanish Lords, North Holland Hustlers were pretty cool too.

 

Hate/Dislike-

Russian Mafiya, Albanian Mob.

All except below, though some honorable mentions include all of the Italian and Russian Mafia families, The Lost MC, Uptown Riders, McReary crime family, Yardies, North Holland Hustlers, and Northwood Gang

 

Neutral:

Spanish Lords (mainly because of Manny Escuela)

 

Hate/Dislike:

Angels of Death

 

So yeah..not really that many gangs here that I don't care for.

Love:

North Holland Hustlers, because i like their hip-hop influenced style, the Jamaicans and the McReary Crime Family because they are friends to Niko.
And i like the Uptown Riders,because they are based on the Ruff Ryders, and The Lost MC, because they are The Lost MC! And i like some of the mafia families (EX: The Gambetti Family)

 Neutral:

I'm neutral with the Angels of Death because they are the main enemies of the Lost MC, but the Fat Biker is one of my favorite pedestrians on the game
Also neutral with the Spanish Lords because of THE STREETS MAN

Hate:

I'm hate the Russian mafia because of obvious reasons. And also i hate the Albanians too, because they are so f*cking weak that they don't exist on 2009 anymore. And i hate the Ancelottis

I really love Angels of Death, because I was a big fan of biker lifestyle, and I think Niko is very awesome to be a biker, his jackets are perfect for this

Interesting topic! That a lot of gangs! Is this like/hate topic based on how those gangs treats ingame? I mean in free roam not missions.

 

Do they really existed in free roam? because I've never encounter some of those gangs ingame which are :

-Jamaican gang 

-Italian mafia (generally The Commission)

-Albanian gang

-Irish mob

-Jewish mob

-Petrovic mafia 

 

and if so, where they do hangout?

I love the spanish lords, and those cavalcades that they ride are very cool.

The Taino Dominicans are one of my favorites because of how they are lowkey, hide in the shadows, and are about getting money. At night time you find more of them walking around Holland, Northwood, Bohan, Schottler,and Beechwood City. But you never find them hanging out in huge groups just doing nothing. Even the colors they wear are lowkey, a hoodie and a black/white bandana. You can tell they've been through a lot because they have razor scars on thei faces. 

 

The Spanish Lords on the other hand are too flashy and too pretty boyish. I've always felt like the Spanish Lords in LC could learn from the Dominicans. Too much "yay yay yay" shouting in the streets. 

 

There are more gangs than people realize in LC, but a lot of it is lowkey.

We've seen a lot more of The Lost. It means I've seen them up close doing "biker" stuff a lot more which means it's gonna make me hate them more. It could be the other way around if we were a member of AOD in IV's DLC.

Disliked the AOD, and the Russian Mob, not for storymode reasons tho, they just seem to act tough without an excuse, and i'm usually getting into fist fights with the first asshole who tells me something while walking, i've lost count of how many smart mouth Russians asses i have kicked walking through Hove Beach.

 

I like The lost, the brotherhood they show, and the lack of racism in their troops, makes them a likeable group of misfits.

Hate: Spanish Lords (They sounds like Donald Duck when they're talking and who the hell wears Puerto Rico Flag on themself)

Hate: Korean Mob, oh the aggression and how they fast-talk, sometimes I feel edgy when I tend to visit Alderney City.

Special mention to Ancelottis, it really boils my heart in Ballad of Gay Tony, and also Albanian mob since they're honestly a filler.

I'll start with my favorites:

 

The Russian mafia, they are relatively powerful and often evoke some kind of everyday feeling.

Yardi, I haven't crossed paths with them often, but I like them because they're chill guys who smoke weed, don't worry about dominating one group or another, they're cool.

The Italian mafia, neat people who can take advantage of this, they are clearly rich and they quite possibly come prepared for some kind of grater, act harmoniously and live in a beautiful area, in general there are many advantages from the outside

Spanish lords and Haslers, I like them because they remind me of the atmosphere of New York, so gloomy and dangerous, when I go to Northwood or East Holland I start to feel like I'm in an old Nas clip.

The McReary gang, I like them because they are essentially our friends because of Packie, and he is one of my favorite Gta 4 Characters

I'll move on to the groups I don't care about.:

 

A Russian Russian gang (Not to be confused with the Russian mafia), they are not particularly strong and ride in inappropriate cars, all I can tell you about them

The drug dealers who live in Bohan, bohan mostly doesn't suit me, bohan is a huge pile of cocaine in Liberty City, so no.

All biker groups and MC, I don't like the theme with bikers, rock and related details

Let's move on to the groups that I don't like:

 

The Jewish mob, no, I'm not a racist or a Nazi, just one of their leaders in a mission with a shootout in a hotel says very hypocritical words like: "Don't touch me, let the old man live a little" or "It's their fault, not mine" Two-faced, I always killed him for it

And the most disgusting and disgusting thing is the Albanian mob, damn it, they are weak, they don't represent anything like that and are just a nasty dog at Anchelotti, attacking us during funerals. I often like to ride in a broker to remind them of their sins and avenge Roman's computer.
