Nihilanth1982 Posted December 13, 2015 Share Posted December 13, 2015 so the PAL version has framerate issues.. how do i get the american version of the game because whenever i go to the playstation store it always goes to my country and not america, even if i use a different browser and sign in? I've just had to create an US PSN account, an US Amazon account with a US shipping address (famous landmark), buy a PSN store voucher code and then you can download it. The PAL HD graphics are great I'm assuming like the NTSC version, but it does have framerate issues that the NTSC version has either none or much less of according to reports. When I finish downloading it, I will test it and let you know, I played the PAL one already and the framerate issues are there. The PS3 version has no framerate issues, but it looks awful !! So bright, colorful and very plastic looking. I saw it today for the first time. thanks. let me know. also how do you get to play the game if you have to sign out of psn and sign in as another on the same console, is the downloaded game still there? So we have a ps2 port with upscaled resolution to 1080p and...trophy support ...huh? that's it ? Couldn't they add something/anything new to this port before demanding 15$ for a 10 years soon to be 11 years old game?Other then ''1080p'' resolution which was available since the game release on pc?Honestly its disappointing....But that's not all.They removed most of my favorite songs from the game!I can't stop myself from wondering how can i now hear cj singing ''ohhh you dropped the bomb on me!'' Needless to say the game won't have silentpatch and/or any other big fancy mod out there... Why should i leave my modded pc version with ton of cool features to the ps4 one only to see a 1080p resolution which i already have on pc?and lose everything i had?I am not encouraging modding i'm just wondering y didn't they add anything new to this port for such a price retail ? I just don't get it... The answer is clear,stick to the pc version.Why buy a 15$ port with absolutely nothing new to the game other that ''1080p''?trophy support?Come on now i don't think that's a reason to buy a game for.. I bet when the ps5 comes out they will remaster this game and resell it only to be slightly different then the ps4 and ps3 and ps2 and ios ones... Now if you don't own a pc and i'm not talking about a 8gb gtx980i7 pc but anything.Hell even a modern laptop is enough to get all what the ps4 version offers and much more but if you don't seem to have one then the ps4 version may be your way to go.But i'm sorry i still feel 15$ is too much for a 3d era gta...Maybe wait for a discount or ps plus offer or something?Probably. I absolutely have no hate towards consoles since i'm a console gamer myself and i game on a cheap old pc machine but i just wanted to war everyone of this ''money whoring scheme'' Thanks for the advice, but I am not a PC gamer, and I never have been. I won't start now just for GTA either. I just don't have the time for modding and all that, as much as I love the idea. People like you should just accept that many gamers are just not into PC gaming and are strictly console gamers. I will gladly play III-era games again if I can get HD resolution and that's what the ps4 version offers, it's not much money so I don't mind paying. R* wont return skateboard to the remastered ( mobile port) thing that they saying. bullsh*t Because the code no longer exists in the game files. Silent would have restored it already if it's still there And i don't think that the PS2 was to weak to handle skateboard handling/animations. But delete your PAL European version version first before you do anything. And you meant PS4 I'm assuming ? The PS3 Mobile port version is awful, avoid it. Luckily I'm having a blast playing through VC again. However I really need a PS4 now lol. Watching OG and others talk about the 3D era on PS4 is making me jealous. SA looks good in HD on the PS4, that's the only reason why I'm playing the III-era games again. For some reason LS in SA feels much better and more vibrant than in V too. There is so much good stuff to do and I can't wait to visit the other cities. Then there is that territory glitch I never even knew about the first time. Taking over gang turf in other cities and towns ! VC next. Man I won't be playing V again for a long time.
