GTAInside's Adm takes a long time to approve a mod and I had incredible releases and I don't even have the "Featured mod" flag. I've seen horrible mods as "Featured", many of them for SA, it seems to me that the "featured mod" policy is not being followed.

And another problem is the re-uploads on other sites (LC.ru, gtaall and others).

Yes, it's definitely broken.
In my opinion, the admin is just looking at the screenshots. If any moronic ENB is heaped up there, then he hangs up the flag
For GTA 4, many terrible mods also have this flag.
You open this model in Open4, and there are not even LODs there. Meh

What is wrong with LibertyCity.ru and its English counterpart, LibertyCity.net? To be honest I don't think they would ever do that at all, they will verified everything is safe and claimed that there will be no stealers in there, so that site is okay to upload your mods. If you felt something's wrong with them, then you can report to them to make changes like providing the actual verified mod package you've made, or change the description, or befriend with one of the uploaders from that site so they can deal with your mods in there, or simply ask them to take it down.

 

You can even create your own account in there and release your mods using that account, @Calvin.linardi used that site very often to release his mods for mirror downloads. @TheMadeMan did used that site too as I spotted his account with his own mods uploaded in there. There is even a few users from that site came here to release their mods, take an example to @Spartan_112

 

Also, have you ever use Google Drive? It's another good service too, I've downloaded a bunch of SA car mods from @Crack Yo' Neck in that site as he used that very often.

OK, first off, don't just ping us indiscriminately please. 

 

Anyways, I have no grudges against LC.ru myself, but the only real reason I upload there is to prevent people(rats) from reuploading from GTAInside in the first place.

 

And the reason I use Mediafire instead of other services is because (for some goddamn reason) it's the only place where I can track download count. And I assume Thunder and GCT is doing the same because of that.

 

Also, ad blockers are a thing lol

He made one of my favorite 80's sedans (Oldsmobile Ciera with design cues from Century, Celebrity and Foxbody Mercury Marquis).

Hey @GCT, I was wondering if it was possible for you to make a raised version of the Emperor Habanaro with bigger tires, slightly smaller wheels. Not an off-road build, just one that mimics the real life 2nd-gen RX/Harrier closer.

 

Only reason I'm requesting is because I just bought an '04 RX330 lol. I love this car so much.

I can see why MiltchMaljers says GTAInside is sh*t. By the way, one question, are all your models based on or contain parts from V cars?

Well, LibertyCity for me is something like a database. There are mods that in other websites have broken download links, and even some that you can't find elsewhere (DKT70 textures or some ac.amir skins, for example). From what I've seen they always (or at least almost always) give credit to their respective creators, but I assume there must be exceptions.

I absolutely love the Tahoma, it fits right into traffic. Is it intentional however that extra_3 on the beater version only includes an exhaust and not a grille?

This is very easy. If you added the vehicle and have the FLA, just copy the line that is in the Readme "(tahoma2)" and paste it in the AddedVehicleAudioSettings.ini file that is located in pc/audio/config folder. 

You must activate the option in fastman92limitAdjuster_GTAIV.ini to use custom audios.
It needs to look like this:
Enable vehicle audio loader = 1

Yes. It was an oversight on my part. But it was fixed now.

Yes. It was an oversight on my part. But it was fixed now.

Put the audio lines on addedvehicleaudiosettings.ini only, both files on pc/audio/config folder and fasthman92limitadjuster_GTAIV.ini into the main directory.

I did everything exactly as you explained but cars still don't use their custom audio files, what did I do wrong?

Have you made sure you've properly installed FLA?

Also, go into the fastman92limitadjuster_gtaIV.ini and made sure the line is like this:

 

Find this line Enable vehicle audio loader

 

and make sure it looks like this

[ADDONS]
Enable vehicle audio loader = 1
Enable FXT loader = 1

 

Now by default, there will be a # in front of the Enable vehicle audio loader, like this:

#Enable vehicle audio loader = 1

 

remove the # and see if it works, also don't forget to set it to 1 instead of 0

Yes I have it installed properly as I am using Simple Native Trainer..
Anyway changing the lines you mentioned also doesn't work. Am I stupid or where is it going wrong? I know how to add/edit and all that stuff lol.

 

Is it because I have added new cars to the main vehicles.img instead of creating a addedvehicles.img?

Have you checked Enable vehicle audio loader=1? Did you removed "#" from that line?

I use OpenIV to add vehicles to the vehicles.img and for placing the handling/vehicle.ide lines etc. I use Notepad.

You can try "Enable FXT loader" and put TAHOMA2 tahoma2 in vehicles.fxt, located at gtaiv/FXT folder.

I have temporarily changed the 4th sandking line to CONTENDER to use the Contender sound. If I change it back to SANDKING the vehicle (and the other added ones for that matter) don't have audio. 
Game version is 0.1.0.0.

There's the problem, FLA doesn't support that version

 

It supports IV 1.0.4.0 1.0.7.0, 1.0.8.0, EFLC 1.1.2.0, 1.1.3.0

 

You gotta try and find a way to update your game to have FLA actually working

Oh well damn, weird since my Trainer seems to be working fine since that also requires FLA.

I have GTAIV.EXE (version 1.0.8.0) which doesn't work to launch the game and I also have LaunchGTAIV.exe (version 0.1.0.0) which does start up the game. It's a work around which I've used a few years back. But I don't know how I did that back then. And I don't know how to update that launcher to 1.0.8.0
