You could use this front for the Pony Classic.

The Walton is looking good, GCT! Great job on the wheels, too btw. They look just like the Chevy truck Rallies.

edit: Do you think rounded blinkers would look better?

@RM76: Beater Pony is interesting, very reminiscent of those rusty RAM Vans that appear on the streets of NY.

@Unbid: I think this front grille fits best in the Burrito Classic, including the chrome frames on the taillight. But I can see how it looks in Pony.

For now I am working on the shading of Walton, but it has problems in prelit color (I believe it is Open Edges).

A similar problem to Algonquin Hood:

Any experts in the area? :colgate:

Oh yeah sharp edges, I remember that being a constant issue in the early days of converting GTA V models. Next to tweaking normals it is one of those things I hate doing. I think this is usually caused when exporting the model with Zmodeler and then reimporting it. For some reason Zmodeler will split up the model and give you those sharp edges if you update the normals. What you can do is to go around the model in Vertex Mode and find the split points, then select them and smooth them out with the normals smoothing tool. I'm sure there is a better way to fix the edges but that is the only method that I know of. I hope that helps.

@Thundersmaker: Thanks. I am solving with the welding and smoothing tool. I will analyze the doors and wings that is where sharp edges are more concentrated.

Note: I always try to use .Z3d extension because Zmodeler causes another bug that makes a small deformation on the car body in the export process.

After 2 days fixing the shading finally some progress

It is still possible to see some points of light in the wings

The two tone looks kinda off hey G.C.T. would it be possible to add another line around it and make it look like this.

For that would be needed a livery, and I do not have much experience with liverys.

EDIT: What I think is that Stepside did not have two tones on the '80s models.

Ahh well I'm sure someone around here knows how to make cool liveries for this truck! Speaking of which ever seen the TV show cHiPs?

They had this cool 79 Stepside with a rad looking design!

Isn't there a thing in IV where if you give it a certain flag in carcols or something it can have more than two colors? Or is that SA?

Good news and bad news! I put the cabin of the original IV Rancher , now has a good appearance and no shading issues. And I renamed the vehicle to Rancher Sport Pickup.

The bad news is that I will not release today (estimated release date).

@baconwizard: Is like SA. The bed does not have a good shape for the second color.

You could try to change the shape of the stepside fenders like make them boxier. That should do the trick. ;)

Oh yeah that is much better! I assume the wheels are paintable seeing how they are black in that pic.

I started the Cavalcade 2, it was fast because I could take advantage of the dummies and collisions of the own IV Cavalcade, until the extras fit.

I liked the result that it is possible that I release the extended version.

@Zultar: I've already put the sound system, running boards (needs a better fit) and I'm thinking of a variation of finish for the roof rack in the extra_5.

@R3W1ND: Without the LEDs it does not look like a modern Escalade (which has an exaggeration of LEDs).

I remember ALMOST610 was working on something like that for a mod I was doing a couple of years ago that never went anywhere. You could probably ask if he has it kicking around to see if it can be used ingame.

Interesting! What kills the idea is the level of the polygons. From the destroyed car I want to just grill and see if it fits in the original van.

I forgot the name of the original van file. Does anyone know there?

Please..kill that LED thing. It looks odd :( and completely ruined this car

@baconwizard: I value the criticisms, makes some mods look better, like wheels, extras, or what happened to Stepside's bed, but there are some unnecessary criticisms that I should ignore. btw, Cavalcade it's ready. Soon I'll upload it to GTAInside.

EDIT: Spanish Lords resolved to renew the fleet

Nice job on the Cavalcade. I wonder if it is possible to replace the Cavalcade2 from TBOGT with this one, and still have Armando's weapon shop work fine.

@Thundersmaker: The TBoGT Cavalcade trunk has a greater opening angle than the conventional Cavalcade, what do you suggest?

Maybe copy the boot dummy from cavalcade2, and use it on yours? I think there is also a way to modify angles of doors/hoods using OpenFormats, but I haven't really looked into it.

Also the sound system that is in the trunk will mess up. I would have to create another variant for TBoGT.
