Looking good. Also, I didn't see your Trailwilder anywhere to download.

That Yosemite looks very similar to the Silverado.

Good Job. :^:

I have tested your Trailwilder, and I must say: you've done a nice job.

The model is spot on. It still has that 90's SUV feel without being too close to the original, and it seems like you solve the specular problem which makes the car "burn my eyes everytime it hits daylight".

Although, there are some bugs that I found:

1. The short distance FP camera is located too close towards the car:

ZktZGkc.jpg

You can ask this guy to help you with fixing it.

2. The suspension is very wonky and the car can flip easily on corners:

60O4Mgd.jpg

You can make a new handling for this car to stop it from flipping to much. Maybe I can work on something too.

Those are pretty much the crucial bug, although somehow I found the rims too pale and the chrome part on the damaged lights are too bright. If you work on improving this again, I suggest that you should map the license plate with the texture from vehshare.wtd, add some bullbars, two-tone color scheme, and a strip that run across the side of the car (like this):

13860354_6.jpg

Overall, I give this 9/10. 11 points because you make my most favorite car in GTA form, and -1 each for the bugs.

@ Unbind Yes. How is my first full conversion to gta iv, I imagined that would come with a few bugs. I will again convert this car to fix some problems soon. The License plates is part of my project 90's Liberty City.

As the camera I tried to fix the TrailWilder and other original cars game edited but without result.

My Yosemite is based on GMC Sierra 2500HD. Original from GTAV Granger.

I would also like to make a request. if someone has Max Payne 3 cars (car based on Caprice more interest) to pass me. I would like to convert for GTA IV. :colgate:

There's a way to fix the camera bug and the top-heavy handling bug using OpenIV's openformats.

In OpenIV, right-click your vehicle in the .img and click on "Export to openformats (.oft)". Open the .oft with a text editor like notepad. At the top, you'll see these lines:

 unbrokenCGOffset 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000dampingLinearC 0.02000000 0.02000000 0.02000000 1.00000000dampingLinearV 0.02000000 0.02000000 0.02000000 1.00000000dampingLinearV2 0.01000000 0.01000000 0.01000000 0.00000000dampingAngularC 0.02000000 0.02000000 0.02000000 1.00000000dampingAngularV 0.02000000 0.02000000 0.02000000 1.00000000dampingAngularV2 0.01000000 0.01000000 0.01000000 0.00000000estimatedCacheSize 15944estimatedArticulatedCacheSize 0becomeRope 0artAssetID -1attachBottomEnd 0minMoveForce 0.00000000CenterOfMass 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000gravityFactor 1.00000000buoyancyFactor 80.00000000group chassis

See how the "unbrokenCGoffset", "damping-blah-blah-blah", and "CenterOfMass" lines all have four groups of digits? Remove the fourth group so they have just three groups of digits. It will then look like this:

 unbrokenCGOffset 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000dampingLinearC 0.02000000 0.02000000 0.02000000dampingLinearV 0.02000000 0.02000000 0.02000000dampingLinearV2 0.01000000 0.01000000 0.01000000dampingAngularC 0.02000000 0.02000000 0.02000000dampingAngularV 0.02000000 0.02000000 0.02000000dampingAngularV2 0.01000000 0.01000000 0.01000000estimatedCacheSize 15944estimatedArticulatedCacheSize 0becomeRope 0artAssetID -1attachBottomEnd 0minMoveForce 0.00000000CenterOfMass 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000gravityFactor 1.00000000buoyancyFactor 80.00000000group chassis

Then just save and close the .oft, and import the .oft into the .img in OpenIV by clicking "New->import openformats" (make sure it's in Edit Mode).

Tried this, doesn't seem to work on the Trailwilder as it's still has the camera glitch.

Lovely!

Also, the black wheel arch reminded me of my old Pathfinder.

Are you going to fix the handling and make the rims more "alloy" (like the one in Blista Compact)? Since the original one is too bright.

Also, like the real life GMC, you might want to remove the middle thick stripe on the grille.

@Unbid The wheel and other parts of the TrailWilder were very clear and artificial after export, I think this problem is related to the diffuse color but not I can fix this, see:

And the emperor limo converted

this explains the brightness in the game.

Never ran into a problem like that, I honestly have no idea what it could be. Maybe it has something to do with the way the materials are set up? :/

Edit: Try importing the model, doing the shading then exporting again it should come out fine. I remember this happening when converting SA cars to IV.

@Thundersmaker I imported the Cavalcade and used it the textures and dummies. Enabled diffuse color and Export.

I converted GTA SA Rebel.
