jdaniel21
ive posted this on the GTA 4 section already, but i want to spread the word ok, so if you installed GTA 4 before updating your PC to windows 10, then you're fine. if you installed GTA 4 after you upgraded to windows 10. you're outta luck. microsoft completely disabled support for secuROM and safedisc games on windows 10, if you want to install and play something with secuROM, like the original sims or GTA 3, you can't. because secuROM is disabled from running, there's no way to run GTA 4 unless you somehow use a game crack (ILLEGAL, DONT DO IT.) or if you dual boot your computer with windows 7 or windows 8.1. people are also saying that you can start the service that allows secuROM by yourself, but it does not work. ive tried it, and the service automatically shuts itself down 10 seconds later.
