At least you didnt lose your game data....But what does the ps2 say, like exactly what is the problem. Thank's in advance. goto a video store and see if they have a cd resurfacer. I had one at the video store i worked at and i used it when my gta3 cd got f*cked up. it works pretty well. lance i dont think cleaning it will help because it is scratched, but i guess it wouldnt hurt to try. ACA Posted February 3, 2003 Share Posted February 3, 2003 You can get a simple CD scratch repair kit for about 5$ at a dollar store. Thats what I think the guy who said clean it meant. My cousins carmageddon CD was brutally scratched and it looked as if it had been dragged across a cement floor. I used the CD repair kit and it worked perfectly. Id do either what ACA said (buy a 5$ repair kit) or goto ur local vid store and see if they have a re-surfacer. they will proly charge u a few dollars. Save up for a new Vice City disk or Rent the game out..switch the disks.. If they ask for you to pay the damage..pay it - it won't be as expensive as buying Vice new, will it?
