Instructions to have a working copy of GTA V for PC after disc installation for retail users:

Optional step - Before using the downloaded files, its better to verify their integrity with REMOVED to check for corruption(if any).

Necessary Steps:

1. After the disc installation is complete, do not update online.

Download the 6 part files from this folder: REMOVED

Following folders will be extracted containing "dlc.rpf" files :

<game_folder>/update/x64/dlcpacks/

a. mpchristmas2,

b. mpheist,

c. patchday2bng &

d. patchday3ng

Copy these 4 folders to <game_folder>/update/x64/dlcpacks/ .

 

Ill-Gotten Gains DLC Part 1:

Download REMOVED

Copy the following 2 extracted folders to the same location i.e <game_folder>/update/x64/dlcpacks/

e. mpluxe

f. patchday4ng

Ill-Gotten Gains DLC Part 2:

Download:REMOVED

Copy the following 2 extracted folders to the same location i.e <game_folder>/update/x64/dlcpacks/

g. mpluxe2

h. patchday5ng

 

Freemode Update:

Download:REMOVED

Copy the following 2 extracted folders to the same location i.e <game_folder>/update/x64/dlcpacks/

i. mpreplay

Lowriders DLC^NEW:

Download:REMOVED

Again,copy the following 3 extracted folders to the same location i.e <game_folder>/update/x64/dlcpacks/

Disclaimer:

These files are a necessary requirement to play the game GTA V on PC. Without these files it is not possible to play the game for first time retail(physical copy) buyers. Unfortunately, after the disc installation, downloading/updating from the official servers of the game publisher via its "Social Club" downloader is quite troublesome due to poor speeds and improper utilization of bandwidth. Also, people with below average internet connectivity speeds face even more difficult issues due to the same. Hence these files have been uploaded on MediaFire for better download speeds and resume support.All patch files are a necessary requirement to play various offline mods for the game GTA V on PC. The default online updates replace the current patches with which many mods were designed to work with, resulting in making them unplayable. So all the patches made by the game publisher have been uploaded too so that they can be played again by choosing the related patch.All files belong to the rightful owner and publisher of GTA V, Rockstar Games.

I am sorry to have to do this but all the links above have been removed.

 

Since many of them and other links were in the responses to this thread I went ahead and removed all of the responses to this thread.

 

It is GTA Forums Policy to not allow linking to any Original game files including torrents.

 

The posting of links to Original game files and patches is not allowed unless they are from Rockstar Games Approved Sources.

 

This violates Rockstar Games EULA , is against our Forum Rules, and is illegal.

 

I am surprised that this thread was allowed (and that no moderator took action) for so long and while I understand some peoples frustration at rockstar's servers ability to provide a stable connection to these files, we cannot allow this here.
