Because the vanilla game has little to no replay value without mods, and strictly talking from a single player perspective. You get Witcher 3: Wild Hunt @ 50% off ( $29.99 ), while Witcher triolgy pack @ 57% off ( $34.39 ). Witcher 3 has no periodic entitlement verification either. Perfect for offline users to avoid any hassles of connecting to the internet! Clearly, Witcher series offers a LOT more replay value for the price you pay enjoying the wirlds best single player experience than what the overrated, boring, empty GTA V charging the same for SP. There are plenty of titles like Fallout 4, Just cause 3, etc where I would happily give away my money and save for it than waste over GTA V SP. And yes, the content on offer is just ..boring by miles than what Witcher 3, Fallout 4, etc has to offer. These games got a much better longerivity even without mods than boring GTA V IMO. Also got the Witcher 3 for 50% off. That game only just came out so that was quite a bargain. And I agree with Osho. The SP of GTA V feels somewhat stale, and I haven't even got around to completing it. I don't really get it, but the replay value is a lot less than I felt when I played other GTA titles like San Andreas. I have heard they are cracking down on cheaters, and I didn't run into any last night, and I messed around in free-roam for a while. If this is true then this game is finally playable again. Oh and btw. consumers speak for themselfs that is why W3 DOES NOT have more sales than V, that is why V is currently the most bought game on the Steam Sale(according to Steams own topseller list). People are just hating for some complex reason on V because it does not offer 400 hours of gameplay, IMO thats just pure bs, since a games quality counts, and Vs quality in terms of storytelling, writing, charactar dynamics, mission design and gameplay elements as well as graphics is OBJECTIVELY VERY VERY good.
