Garage distribution

Hello everyone.

I'm losing track of where all my vehicles are stored in my four garages.

How did you distribute your cars over your garages and what's the logic behind it?

Good question. I personally use the following system (written down for easy reference):

 

3 Alta St., Apt. 57 - Primary / day-to-day vehicles
331 Supply Street - Overflow vehicles
Tinsel Towers - Sentinel XSs and NPC-modded vehicles from LSC
Murrieta Heights - Rare / "spawn bait" / infrequently used vehicles

 

...but I frequently call my Mechanic and look through the list just to keep tabs on my cars/garages for both characters.

In the apt I spawn in, I have my most used and most useful vehicles.

In my 2nd apt, I have my classic cars

3rd garage, everything else I don't use that much.

 

And if I were in CG, my 4th garage would have the returning player's vehicles and lowriders.

Second garage - utility vehicles for free roam, heisting and missions (Insurgent, Armored Kuruma, some four-seaters and my Akuma)

 

Third garage - mostly racing vehicles and miscellaneous vehicles that I don't bring out often, but still keep

 

Fourth garage - pretty much just Dubstas for selling

Main apartment - 51 Richards Majestic: My four main cars, Elegy, Carbo, Sultan RS and Sabre Turbo, and 6 motorcycles.

 

Second garage - 10 car garage on the East side: All my other cool cars plus my Sprunk livery Bati 801 that I love to death. For some reason my only supercar is over here instead of at my main apartment, my Turismo R.

 

Second second 10 car garage (cheap 10 car garage on south side of map in the ghetto): Used to be the cars in my Hells Angels getaway house garage (4 Hangman, the house in the hills with the swimming pool). Hexar, Picador, Dirty Rebel, and my topless gang Peyote, painted black, with $71,000 chrome rims and a $100200 license plate, in other words my favorite car.

 

I found another gang Tornado the other day, a purple hard top. When I was looking I was planning on selling it but getting it I think it's too beautiful to sell. It looks great with my green one.

My first three garages are all located in the Richards Majestic building. This was done for the sake of convenience so all my vehicles would be in one building and not scattered all over town. My 4th garage is located at the next closest apartment, Weasel Plaza.

The cars I drive the most are in my main garage RM #51, the next most used cars are in my second garage RM #4, and cars I use once in a while (along with cars I intend to sell) are in my third garage at RM #2.

The cars I drive the least are in my fourth garage at WP #70.

Second garage: unsellable/unused (look at) cars

Third garage: NPC modified cars/Kuruma

Fourth garage: Crew cars/bikes

I group them based on the location of apartment itself, for example, Eclipse Towers will have the Supercars/Luxury Cars as it is located at a considerably 'high end' location, near Vinewood. My 2nd Apartment @ Bay City Ave has High End cars, something you'd imagine well off executive office people drives. And then the last apartment @ Paleto Bay, Procopio Drive, it is for cars that you'd see around that sorta area or just cars that i feel like keeping!

My cars are distributed by how much I like/use them.

 

Main Tinsel Towers Apt has my favourite and generally more expensive cars.

Laguna Blvd has my Armoured Kuruma for obvious reasons, and my next best cars.

Alta Street has my Hakouchou (for Fleeca) and other random vehicles I like but don't use regularly. I also keep my Moonbeam here for easy access to Benny's.

Airport warehouse garage (near LSC) has all the rare vehicles (skeletal dune buggy, sandking xl, phoenix, hearse, mariachi car, etc) that I collect but don't have practical value. It's a good location to spawn into if I want to spawn a plane since it's <1 min from airport).
