I just logged out of a lobby with not one , not two but ----fifteen ---- people all discussing with another cheater how to install their new cheats correctly over voice chat. Most of these halfwits couldn't even figure out how to find folders within their game directories. Anyway, i will gladly get banned if it means i can kick these people from lobbies I'm in. :side note: I thought i heard mention of this mod blocking the cheaters from joining a lobby you are in ? Why not just make a simple mod that does just that and nothing else and have the community update the cheater list ? I haven't been Online today since this morning (was only online for 2 hours) since I've been busy with server maintenance, but I have gotten a ton of reports on a huge influx of cheaters today. Sad really, and even more depressing they clearly don't know what the f*ck they are doing. This blocks known cheaters from the session, though it's most effective if you are the host. I don't recommend doing it without host since it will attempt to crash them and sometimes that can cause game instabilities, especially over prolonged periods of time. The good news is, there is an in-game report system included with EIS. Select the player, press F10+Spacebar, type your report reason, and hit Enter to submit it. It reports them to EISS only, not Rockstar. Players reports are processed by the server and automated EISS bans are issued (meaning that they get blacklisted) based on how many times they have been reported + the player's statistics. You can report each person once per session. So if you have multiple friends in the same session and you all report the same person, there will be higher chance the player gets EISS banned/blacklisted. Of course, these reports are manually reviewed as well, to ensure that fake reports are weeded out. Also. By default in the stock INI, auto-reporting is enabled, which means that the Network Violation Detection System will automatically report flagged violators to the EISS server in the background, as they are flagged. You can leave it on, or you can turn it off, either way. By itself, it is 80% accurate; there is a 20% chance of each player that is flagged being a false positive (in other words, picking 5 randomly flagged players, 1 of them may not be cheating). I continually try to improve the accuracy, but it's not an easy task to do over the network. The game engine also sometimes gives erroneous statistics, which must be constantly filtered-out, which is mostly the cause of the false positives. That said. I plan on releasing an update tomorrow hopefully so we'll see how things go. Sucks the cheater situation is back again after not even 48 hours, but we have the "developers" of these "menus" (for lack of a better term) to blame as well as the massive immature player community. kat365 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can not wait to DL it and vote kick and all that stuff to the innocent players and ROCKSTAR has no control over it. Only you the DEVELOPER can control it Do that with my software and you will get a swift ban from it. As previously mentioned, all such activity with the tool is logged and abuse will not be tolerated. I Sure as hell would be weary if I was anyone becasuse he could slip all kinds of stuff into the program you might not see (card readers, Info gathering, worms, etc.) and do not say they can virus scan it either.lol The same can be said with any software you download. The only people who need to worry are those who don't know sh*t. I do not do virus scans myself nor on my network because virus scans are inaccurate and further, I control all the uploads to the network, thus I am aware they are safe. Further, the DLL file is hashed to the server before I release it and the file has is checked at runtime while the injector loads the file -- a file with an unauthorized hash will not be permitted to be used by the provided injection utility and in such a case, will notify the user that the file might be damaged or otherwise tampered with. As for people who download it, they have the right to perform their own preferred best practices on downloading files from the Internet. If you believe it might not be safe, then by all means analyze the file yourself or - if you feel comfortable with an inaccurate tool - scan it with a anti-virus scanner. It might have some flags since it's a DLL that is being injected into another process and is partially obfuscated, but like I said, if you don't trust it, reverse it and you will see it's harmless and doesn't have anything "sneaky" or otherwise harmful. SO INTERESTING IT LOGS INFO AND IF YOU ABUSE IT YOU ARE BANNED? SO BY YOUR OWN WORDS YOU MONITOR IT? oK SORRY now I understand.. I do like this after all. I feel alot safer knowing this program is LOGGING info from my computer and you are the person to decide who abuses.. Personally, if I don't completely trust a file, I reverse it and also run it in a virtual machine to monitor for anything suspicious. Ultimately, all files run a risk when people download them, and by all means my software is different. It does not have malware or anything like that, but like (I assume you're hinting), who knows if I'm telling the truth other than myself? My recommendation if you feel suspicious is reverse it, test it, and do whatever else you feel appropriate. If you still don't trust it, then don't use it. I don't know what else to say there.... 3. It is an add-on so yes, there is a possibility of it causing bans to others. I made this clear in multiple places throughout the download area and the user's manual. No one so far has been banned with it and myself along with 30+ people that test for me haven't been banned and it's been in use since June (nearly 6 months at the time of this post). But like I said, there is always a risk, hence the disclaimers. 4. I've addressed this before- that stuff is logged. The main purpose of the tool is to provide a level of security against other malicious cheaters. It is not perfect; there are a couple of things it will not be able to protect you from, but I update it when I can with what I can. Yes it can be abused in that sense at first, and if it's excessive, the server will automatically ban the user from EISS. Sure, the damage may already be done, but understand I'm not God, I can't work miracles here. Rockstar likely monitors that stuff anyway, so people abusing it will still get flagged by Rockstar's monitoring systems if they abuse it. Hope that makes sense. I don't believe it tho as I encountered more cheating in the last two days than earlier in the week. EDIT: although I did just go look at R* support site and there are a lot of "help banned" and the like appearing One guy got banned until 2035 (32 bit number? suspect it would have been until the year 10k something if 64 bit number)... Well, if you read the documentation provided and actually took the time to set it up, then I take back what I said about you not using it correctly. Sadly, most of the time when someone says something "doesn't work", they have taken no initiative to read the provided resources and understand the system to really be able to fully take advantage of it. If you did, then that's a different story. However, "doesn't work" doesn't help me to improve/fix it, since that's an umbrella statement. I'll need details, like what didn't work, what did you try, etc. And as for using it, I've put a note on the download that some people have been banned for it and to use it with caution. I'll be investigating what could have caused this. Also. For all those who did use it, did you all inject with manual mapping? or just native injection? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you probably used Native Injection, which is likely the reasoning for the ban. It's always a risk. But you laughing doesn't really accomplish anything useful, now does it? Also. It appears that there is no new anti-cheat, their statement in the release notes wasn't a lie, however that anti-cheat is not related to the anti-cheat that got most people banned. Those who got banned so far were natively injecting instead of manual mapping which I mentioned a few times in my posts, as well as was explained in the User's Manual. I'll be sure to update the Quick Start instructions that I believe left that step out by mistake, but I do encourage people read (or at least, skim through) the provided software documentation in the future to ensure safety. When i select dll for injection (EIS2015R2_ix64.dll) it gives back an error and app exit. This is described in no.8 of installaltion manual on project web site. More like have been bad I don't mind the ones that give me free money, it's the f*ckers that take all weapons or try to ddos you and expect you to do nothing about it.
