Racing garage essentials

So I have 8.5 million and want to buy a garage for racing. I plan to get a T20 for super races and want to know mods are best for its performance and what cars should I get for other classes.

You could have saved over a million dollars by going for the Zentorno instead of the T20. It's almost as fast and just as competitive. I own one myself and frequently beat people in T20s.

8.5 million is not a lot of money for a racing garage you need all the performance mods including a spoiler.

 

Dont race with low profile tires (stock or HE) upgrade to at least Muscle rims

Well depends.

The 2 race cars and the elegy are all competitive much but with drag races being slightly more populair i think one shoud atleast own a massacro racecar.

On the supers...true...even the entity coud still do....and even a infernus if youre realy skilled with it....unless on old gen with the t-20....not enough traction at all

On sport classics....forget it to win consistently with anything thats not a stirling unless youre skill is so high you generaly can beat osirises and such with a vacca. Z type is still the best for drag racing though

Muscle cars...top 4 well balanced on next gen, top 3 well balanced on old gen

Suv's...same case like with sport classics...you will need a huntley s.

Coupes...zion, felon 4 door, exemplar and jackal are all competitive i heard but i only raced the felon and zion....i think though they are both well rounded, the felon 4 door is better in the corner because its traction

bikes...i find those realy track dependant... though i think the bati is more balanced nothing beats the akuma if the bati 801 cant wheelie much and both get smoked by the hakuchou if the track involves a lot of straights

Well generaly i think its one thread every few week.

Also that thread was not visited much and its now used as a guide reference...wich i think is even better.

Atleast it will not be burried under dozans of threads anymore...its now were it belongs

I think I've changed all but the Bifta and Pigalle back to Muscle, but they do make a difference!

Well Offroads give you an slight advantage when racing becomes competitive. I used to use them, but now I use ones which look beter, since the advantage is only very small and I am not that good to mess with some top tier racing drivers in this game either.

Super: T20/Osiris/Zentorno AND Entity XF/Turismo R

Sports: Massacro AND Elegy RH8/Jester/Feltzer

Coupe: Zion/Exemplar/Felon/Windsor

Sedan: Tailgater/Schafter/Super Diamond (or Stratum...I don't own one - but those who do often recommend it)

Motorbike: Bati/Hakuchou AND Akuma/Carbon RS (..and Sanchez)

Off-road: Sanchez/Bifta/Dune Buggy AND Sandking/Dubsta 6x6 (..for rock climbing - although the stock monster trucks are just as good)

SUV: Baller/Huntley S

Muscle: Dominator/Dukes/Blade

Sports Classics: Stirling GT

Compact: Blista/Rhapsody/Panto/Issi

For supercars, if you have the money, pick the T20 which has the best overall specs for all kinds of races, if not get a Zentorno that costs 1/4 and can perfectly stand it, and the Entity is also great for city circuits, being able to do sharp corners way better than any other.

 

But there are more categories besides super (for most people's surprise), sports cars is probably the second most regular category on randoms' races, so it's recommended to also own a racing car for it, and the best one is the Elegy, with the bonus of being free.

 

Get a Sanchez and an Akuma for off-road and motorbikes categories respectively, they're the best for each category and for a really affordable price.

 

Try to find a Dominator on free roam for Muscles, and I'd recommend to try to find that pre-modded version from LSC to save some money on parts.

 

Finally for Classics take the Stirling GT if you have the money, if not take the Coquette for almost half the price, but not as good as the first one. I'd also get a PV for Compacts, it's not really often you'll find a race with that category buy you'll have a, good advantage if you're prepared. I recommend the Rapsody, since it has the overall best specs of that category, and I think it's the only one there with rear traction, I really dislike front traction in game since it's so easy to spin the cars.

 

I don't use to race on any of the other categories so I can't give you a, reliable advice for them, but take in consideration what other users have already suggested.
