Should I get this on next gen?

So I've been saying this for ages but it's finally time to upgrade. I've ordered my Xbox One (I wanted a PS4 but I still have a Xbox Live subscription which makes it a bit cheaper) and am waiting for it to arrive.

 

I'm getting Fallout 4 with it and at this moment in time I am just looking for older next gen titles as that's all I can afford. I'll be getting Assassins Creed Unity for definite as I like Assasins Creed games.

 

With GTA though I''m really undecided. There's first person and better graphics, which are self explanatory. I know there's low riders but that doesn't particularly bother me.

 

Only other thing I can think of which I've heard of is freeroam events but as I haven't played them I have no idea whether they're good or not.

 

So are freeroam events good? Is there anything else which means I should get an upgraded copy? Sell it to me like you're the Houser brothers.

Yes. I'm not gonna explain it to you. If you enjoy gta, get it. 2 years and still fun.

Also, no hackers. Glitchers sure, but they're few and far between. It's almost....calming.

Look up some gameplays on the free mode events and then see how they turn out, otherwise you're going purchase the game and try it out for yourself.

I say yes, buy it used. Its pretty much all the same as on last gen with some graphic upgrades, new cars and a better working passive mode. Pretty much 70% is walking around in passive ghost mode to avoid being trolled.

I don't have a problem getting a next gen console for the better graphics and new functionality got GTAV/GTA0. The thing that is keeping me from upgrading is that I still haven't seen an announcement about the upgrade to a next gen player community.

Yes. Freeroam events can really spice up lobbies a lot of the time. And honestly, the difference might not be that much, but the improvement on graphics is definitely noticeable.

 

Also, it's still going to get new content updates. So there's that.

If you're upgrading to CG, I'd definitely get a copy of GTAV.

 

I have, and never looked back. Still the game that I play the most, two years on. Even bought a second copy for the other half to play too... no regrets.

Free roam events are fun but not a good means to make money so if you don't expect to get rich and just enjoy some free roam competition then you'll enjoy them.

 

This is a must have game for a new CG owner. Its just beautiful to look at some times.

Yes you should, if your a big GTA Online player.

 

As soon as you get it you should:

 

* Transfer your character from 360/PS3, all of your online progress, properties and vehicles will transfer across. You may also be eligible for returning player bonuses, depending if the 'offer' from Rockstar has expired yet or not:
