my crew and I started a video tutorial series called "The PC Pilots Flight School".

 

This is the first episode:

Thanx for the tutorial,i really need help to become top pilot,I'm good at races but i just can't get it right against the top players on dogfight.hey kill me very easily,i hope u guys continue

These are great, though it's worth remembering free mode dogfights rarely end up clean enough for merges, etc. Nearly everyone goes off the radar, and so a huge part of dogfights with randoms ends up being spotting the enemy jet first, as well as timing your own off radar to counter theirs.

 

The videos are great though, and it's good to see the Besra and Hydra get some love. The Hydra might not be the best for dogfights, but it's a really underrated jet in my opinion, and hover mode can be invaluable sometimes. Sticking a bomb on the Besra can be great too, even for taking down enemy Lazers.

 

One thing about stealing a Lazer though, is that if you fly out low enough, the AI jets shouldn't appear. I used to fly them just over the fence facing the bridge/swamp, and as long as it was low enough the AI jets never arrived. I did occasionally get tanks spawning around the jet I tend to steal though, so the one in your video might be a better bet.

I must've missed it haha. I'm on Xbox One, great video by the way.

 

I can dodge most homing launchers that are directly ahead of me (just by flying towards them), but it's patchy at best for me. I still occasionally get hit even in that position, and any other position and I'm basically done (except for one or two freak incidents with a Cargobob).

 

Then again, I fly the big helicopters a lot, so spending more time in the Buzzard would probably help. I mostly just rely on cover and making sure no one can see me. Great video anyway, especially the part at the end where you dodge the missiles and get that helicopter.
