Don't take this comment as bitching and moaning, but seriously I don't know how did they came up with this idea. Maybe if I play I find it actually fun, but the idea I've got makes it seems so dumb and nonsense. I guess they came up with this just to have something new for the players, but seriously...

Yeah this crap took about as much imagination as riveting stuff like backing up the farthest. Or maybe the thrill of seeing who can fall the farthest like a retard. R* is seriously going downhill. Don't tell the fanboys who would kneel at the toilet and praise every dump R* took though.

 

News flash....Nobody is forcing you to do the Freeroam Events or play these modes so why bitch about it when it affects you in now way

My favorite is flying upside down.

 

This is one of my favourite FM events, it's really disorientating but lots of fun seeing the GTAO world from (quite literally) a different perspective.

 

I enjoy most of the flying FM challenges actually, despite being a terrible pilot in this game. Slowly getting better with incentives to fly choppers under bridges though, so it's all good :D

Yet to play it but sounds/seems a lot like the other game modes where one team tries to stop the other one from scoring...like Offense Defense or Hunting Pack.

Can the community get paid to submit ideas to R* because this sh*t is getting repetitive.

Played slasher last night.

 

I can never get enough people to join, I can't even get the minimum amount of people needed to launch the job.

 

When it first came out everybody was playing it but seems now nobody wants to play it

Another one that annoys me is flying close to the ground. You have to be insanely close to ground or it stops.

It would be a lot better if there was a short "return to the arena"-style countdown like every other event, to allow you to dodge telegraph poles, fly over valleys, and make turns; there are very few places where you can fly low for a significant amount of time without being confronted by obstacles/undulating terrain.

I use the Buzzard either at the airports, beach or race track for the low flying challange because in the helicopter you can do a full 360 degree turn without stopping and keep going

That actually sounds pretty good, assuming there's nothing to accidentally hit or it automatically stops your score cause you're not just centimeters from the ground.

I like how the game pretty much tells you "Don't get too high!". lol

 

With the race track you just keep following the track round and round with no needing to stop and go back the other way but you need to be careful when going forward not to give to much thrust of you'll get too high so keep your finger on the left trigger to counter but also just give a little speed then let go of the right trigger, no need to rush as everybody else are usually using planes and will eventually crash/get to high and will need to start over

You just gotta go a little slower that's all and won't be bothered as much as if you were @ the airport

It's already broken.

 

Playing with 3 others and for the first two rounds it's 2 v 2 but the next round it's 3 v 1 and then somehow on the next round after that we're all on the same side :blink:

Make this a 2 X or even a 3 X GTA$ event and it would be even better...

 

But I'm getting Rockstar's attitude towards these little releases. For sure, they're not the mega implementations that we really crave, but they're starting to add little games and events to GTAO on a more frequent basis, instead of making us wait 2-3 months for a single update. That's wise, Rockstar. Keep things ticking over, show us you're interested, provide us with more event weekends and stuff like that in between the BIG updates. Cheers.

After playing a couple of rounds, my impression is: WTF???

 

The area is so huge and the Panto is so tiny. At least give the others Insurgents or something. It's like trying to pick up and hold on to a bar of soap from a greased and oiled floor.

If I read this correctly, this is exactly the same as a capture I made on XBone not too long ago. And I used a PC job I saw in a You Tube video as the idea for mine.

 

Rockstar copying ideas from their players again. Oh dear...

I don't usually do Adversary Mode anymore, although Slasher was fun for a little while.

 

 

I ignore Adversary Modes altogether. And if I ever join up in one, I often see very few or no players at all.

Those are fun as hell so this has potential.

There's co-op for those of you unskilled at pvp. Leave us killers to do what we do.

 

PvP isn't difficult in GTA and require next to no skill.

 

If there were some PvP game modes that required some thinking and tatical play, PvP would be worth playing.
