PS4 GTA riddled with tons of jaggies during the day

Try using the image sharpening feature on your tv and turning it down to zero. Works a charm for me.

My sharpness is at like 5 out of 100 lol

Well not really, but it's not hard to miss during daytime. The screen like flickers as I'm driving due to the amount of jaggies lol.

Yeah, the game appears to use adaptive AA just like last gen. You can't do much besides just lower the sharpness on your TV. Speaking of last gen, if the jaggies on current gen bother you then last gen will make you wanna stab yourself in the eyes lol.

How about optimising your tv settings. Google your tv model's best settings and you should find something on an AV forum. Might help you out.

Yeah I'm actually using settings people have recommended as well as putting some of my own in there such as game mode. But I'm thinking it's just the game because BO3 and Destiny look a lot better with little to no jaggies.

Dude you can't use other peoples settings tvs are all different even if same make/model. There are calibration tools you can buy but if you want a cheap easy fix a lot of disney movies have a calibration screen for you to set up your telly I believe(could be wrong) all blue rays with the 'divx' logo have it . I used monsters inc haha. Worked a treat. I know exactly what you mean by jaggies (I have superfreak eyesight apparently, or so drs tell me) and they use to drive me nuts, I guess I just got used to them because I don't notice them anymore.

 

I spent more time than I care to admit to myself calibrating our house tvs use to drive my fiancee nuts.

It's called aliasing, if you want rid of it get the PC version and use anti aliasing.

I don't really notice them much, but I think that's just because I have a good TV. 'jaggies' (not the correct name, btw) are a thing, though.

Try to ignore them.

Yes jaggies are awful in this game, even on PC (if youre below 4k or full MSAA). The engine just wasnt designed for smooth clean looking images. Make your screen as blurry as possible, thats the only thing you can do. Has nothing to do with your tv model.

I mean as long as there is nothing wrong with my PS4 then I'm good, because I still have time to exchange it if there is a problem lol.

first this game was made on ps4 Xbox one then ported to last gen. 2 nd I don't even notice them
