Anyone remember when bringin the tow truck to online on PS3 and X360 entire lobbies would freeze ? Yet to you some of you guys it was probably totally "harmless" like: "duur, tow truck ain't harming nobody"

Give it time they will remove the outfits glitched and continue to ignore the shoddy matchmaking system, the free aim assisted in free aim issue repeatedly raised by the free aim community, and modded account transfers still possible from ps3 to ps4.

Hey! Leave the lowriders out if it. They haven't done anything wrong....lol jk. I agree; they REALLY need to sort out the modded accounts being transferred. I'm not a kd whore, but it's pretty stupid when you see someone with a kd of 650 lol. I've seen a few level 8000 players (on PS4) as well. I have a feeling there's a big money wipe/character wipe coming; similar to the end of the billionaire era.

Well, I can only account for my personal experience, but I believe you if you are saying it hasn't caused you any issues, maybe you simply got lucky, in the end, who knows ?

 

But like I said, to me it was quite the contrary. My old crew used to mess around with this kinda stuff a lot, in fact any glitch for that matter in the early days of GTA Online, and somehow it would always end up freezing the lobby or creating some other bugs eventually.

 

Even the launch glitch, which I must agree was fun with a couple friends (for a few hours) had my console completely freezing sometimes and/or others disconnecting immediately when triggered. So I can understand why they were fixed eventually.

 

Anyways, my post was just to bring up an example. Not taking any sides in this debate whatsoever.

I have the police outfit, the green duffle bag and teddy bear on my bodhi, if rockstar patched them, I will not die, life will go on, I also will not claim any of those are not harmless because I do not know.

Do you have an open ticket on this, or can I help support this 'complaint'?

 

Mixing free-aim and free-aim assisted into the same lobby was a major mistake by Rockstar. They're making the game increasingly more arcade-ish and comical in that way. I cannot get used to the roll-fire-roll-fire tactics of assisted-aim, it takes all the skill and tactics out of the game. Imagine being in an assisted-aim DM, two against one, for example. You can't go out into the open because of the other guy flanking you, and you can't hide because you get flushed out with OPWs. The only way to play assisted-aim is to roll-fire-roll-fire in the open, die 100 times, kill 100 times. I've only played about three DMs since I've been on next-gen, and I used to play them ALL THE TIME.

I don't think anyone has suggested that "harmless" glitches do break the game. I personally think all glitches should be removed, but I'm not saying that anything is breaking the game. I want them removed because I want quality when I buy something. Bugs prove a lack of quality.

 

No-one here has the knowledge, though, to say what is and what is not a "harmless" glitch.

Somewhat and other harmless glitches such as the police outfits and going inside the police station.

 

 

Going inside the police station was never a glitch seeing as the door was open. Getting the police uniform is more of a breach than a glitch.

 

As painfully pointed out earlier, a glitch is making the game do something it's not meant to do. It may seem harmless to us the player, but we're not game dev's.

as far as the clothes glitches go, that is what everyone that is against it has been trying to say. When players glitch the police uniforms, dufflebags, the mask/hat/glasses combo, ect.... they are adding stuff that is not intended to be that way and in the long run can cause some major problems which is why this so called "no fun allowed" developer patches it out. I mean what's to say that Rockstar has not tried to make it possible for the mask/hat/glasses combo to be used without glitching to only have other problems come up when trying to do it. Same with the dufflebag.

 

the perfect example of a glitch that appeared to be harmless that turned out to be anything but harmless is the gate launch glitch. It was causing problems for players and Rockstar had no other choice but to patch it out of the game as a result. So even if they seem harmless they very well might not be.

If that was the case, all buildings in the game that can be legitimately entered would be sealed shut lol. Mine shift, Mile High Club, Fort Zancudo control tower ect. Bad idea lol.

When they closed the police station they also closed the garage in the mission "gentry does it" which was open well before the police station opened hell it might of even been open since day one i have no idea why they closed that as well

All that any of the popular glitches in GTAO are is a way for narcissistic, uncreative children and immature adults to call attention to themselves, annoy other players, and encourage others to break the game.

 

Wow, are you qualified to assess a DSM V diagnosis? If so, you are the FIRST to offer your services and professional opinions strictly off your impressions of behavior in a video game. Seriously, Blasterman I can sympathize with your frustrations. However, your generalizations make you look silly. To broadcast them publicly makes you look even sillier. Not all glitchers behave or all glitches used are in a manner to harass and alter your gameplay. If you want to have a serious dialogue you must abandon these poorly advised statements.

If anything your anger, bombasity on the subject and inability to see anything other than you hyper narrow interpretation makes me wonder about you. A positive first step is not accusing everyone glitching as being a walking DSM diagnosis. Second, you see the separation between trolling with glitches and other forms of glitching that don't kill or alter any other playplay. There are hundreds of thousands of people that used money glitches as a means to financial stability in the game.

You want to have a productive dialogue here, you must get off your sanctimonious perch and see the situation in reality.

Who's to say R* even intended to fix some of these glitches? It is entirely possible that fixing something else removed the ability to do certain glitches

I didn't say it the same as Furry, but he does call it what it is. All you have to do is look at Blasterman's profile and his embrace of Tom Cruise. If there was an ever arrogant douche of a person it's Cruise. His disdain for medically accepted standards and creating his own standards reeks of arrogance and recklessness. Anyhow, anyone who embraces Cruise as a role model automatically flags me as a suspect. Cruise is the ultimate "I think it's this way" instead of living in reality.

 

Oh ya, Cruise won't debate either. If you try to do it with him, he blacklists you and refuses to speak to you. Look at a Matt Lauer trying to debate him about his silly stance on postpartum depression and Tom can't handle having his worldview questioned.

So many do gooders in this thread, Thinking there fully mature adults because everyone that wants to do a crew color glitch on there OWN cars is a kiddo.... Right? OR clothing glitches these type of glitches cause no harm to anyone, The only people don't like it are the people that was too late to get crew color with chrome etc or clothing glitch (Gas Mask & Bulletproof Helmet & police outfits) or they just like ruining it for everyone else, Go moan about god mode wall breaches that still haven't been patched something that can actually effect your game play or those invisible outfits..... But R* is no fun allowed people shouldn't really take there words seriously look at hiests that took long enough.

Oh. I miss going in there sometimes, sucks it was closed again. Wasn't the control tower always sealed? I know on PS3 you could jump through the wall to get in.
