Think about it. A glitch is making the game do something it shouldn't do. Yes some appear harmless to us, the player, but none of us have any idea beyond that. Bottom line, a group of game dev's developed GTA, a game dev is someone who is really into games so does it not seem pretty obvious that they would share a laugh at someone gets thrown accross the map at 40,000mph?

 

So called harmless glitches are closed for a reason. It's annoying at time but this is done for a reason and it ain't due to some butthurt "no fun" bull crap.

The invisible body crap needs to go. I don't care if someone has cop uniforms or glitching masks and hats together bc they don't affect the game at all. Now the gate launch was kinda stupid to patch when it was fun to do.

 

What they really should focus on is fixing and patching all the wall breaches.

Most of the glitchers that go around complaining about glitch removals, "no fun allowed", Cockstar etc. They're always the same type of people, they play the game nearly exclusively for the glitches, wouldn't care otherwise. They just go around showing off their glitched items thinking they're f*cking king, every opportunity to post a picture on this site; "Oh, make sure I post a selfie with my glitched outfit. That'll make everyone jealous!", yet the only followers they get are other tryhards and 13 year old Vanoss/MrBossFTW wannabes. They don't care about the balance of the game.

 

If there was a slightly difficult glitch which made your characters tongue orange, we'd all be seeing selfies of people's characters with their mouths agape and subsequent bitching when it's removed.

 

It's all very laughable.

Some wall glitches are not impervious to explosions. He texted me: "how?"

It was some stupid low level of course.

I'm in the process of finding the safest way to kill bounty wall breachers in all the common breaches. I intend to make a video once I have a suitable amount. I know some people will see the breaches and be spurned to find out how to get into them (I obviously won't show that in the video), but it will be a much smaller number than those who think, "I can't wait to see someone in there again".

Because crew colors over metal/matte/classic glitch, painted stock wheels glitch (some cars spawn with painted stock also) and removing certain car parts are totally disrupting the flow of the game and should have been patched.

If you think those deserve to be patched then we can never agree with eachother on any subject.

Let all the glitches and all the glitches burn.

 

Play the game the right way or don't play it.

 

Lighten up, jeez! What's wrong with having a glitched paintjob on your car, or a transferred logo on a t-shirt? It's not making me invincible or giving me super speed. I had fun with the gate launch glitch while it lasted. Too bad Rockstar went against their word later on. But that doesn't matter anymore, because Fallout 4.

I don't see any problems with the glitched hat combos or outfits. It's the invisible outfit that should be patched, it's annoying facing them in a deathmatch or free roam battle.

 

 

Report them for game bug exploits. If no-one does it they'll continue in the same manner. Those wimps always get a report & kick vote from me.

Rockstar has shut the banhammer email address down, and is no longer accepting cheater report support tickets (they either get automatically marked as solved or completely deleted). When you submit one, before it gets closed/marked as solved or deleted you get and automatic response saying to only report them through the in-game reporting system. The only way to get Rockstar to look into the reported cheaters when reported that way, you need basically everyone else in the session to report them multiple times.

 

changing it to only being able to report them through the in-game reporting system, has also made it 100% impossible to report (to Rockstar) the idiots that livestream themselves cheating (doing money glitches, god mode, whatever) or the idiot Youtubers that show nothing but themselves doing money glitches and showing how to do them.

the invisible body thing needed to be patch about 4 patches ago, and the walbreaches have needed to be fixed for two years now so I really can't see Rockstar doing anything about it now, since all they seem to care about is adding stupid stuff and breaking other stuff in the process that never gets fixed.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I know it seems futile but if 100 people don't report someone (over multiple sessions and weeks of gameplay), then that's 100 reports not made against that person. I may be being naive, but I do believe that if you go over a certain number of reports then you automatically get thrown in the cheater pool, and have to prove your innocence, rather than needing proof of guilt. I see enough people complaining about being thrown in the cheater pool to know that it happens, and that's what I've assumed to be the cause.

I'd be happy if literally every single bug was removed from the game right now, including (if not especially) the ones that can be used as exploits by players.

If they would do that they can happily take away my helmet/balaclava tactical suite which I never use to begin with.

I'm in the process of finding the safest way to kill bounty wall breachers in all the common breaches. I intend to make a video once I have a suitable amount. I know some people will see the breaches and be spurned to find out how to get into them (I obviously won't show that in the video), but it will be a much smaller number than those who think, "I can't wait to see someone in there again".

Give it time they will remove the outfits glitched and continue to ignore the shoddy matchmaking system, the free aim assisted in free aim issue repeatedly raised by the free aim community, and modded account transfers still possible from ps3 to ps4.

Because while it may seem to some that Rockstar is fixing those glitches just to "take the piss/no fun allowed", I guess plenty of you guys are missing the point entirely and probably don't understand how hard it is to actually maintain the game's stability with all the permanent issues they have to deal with.

 

Anyone remember when bringin the tow truck to online on PS3 and X360 entire lobbies would freeze ? Yet to you some of you guys it was probably totally "harmless" like: "duur, tow truck ain't harming nobody"

All that any of the popular glitches in GTAO are is a way for narcissistic, uncreative children and immature adults to call attention to themselves, annoy other players, and encourage others to break the game.

Wow, are you qualified to assess a DSM V diagnosis? If so, you are the FIRST to offer your services and professional opinions strictly off your impressions of behavior in a video game. Seriously, Blasterman I can sympathize with your frustrations. However, your generalizations make you look silly. To broadcast them publicly makes you look even sillier. Not all glitchers behave or all glitches used are in a manner to harass and alter your gameplay. If you want to have a serious dialogue you must abandon these poorly advised statements.

If anything your anger, bombasity on the subject and inability to see anything other than you hyper narrow interpretation makes me wonder about you. A positive first step is not accusing everyone glitching as being a walking DSM diagnosis. Second, you see the separation between trolling with glitches and other forms of glitching that don't kill or alter any other playplay. There are hundreds of thousands of people that used money glitches as a means to financial stability in the game.

You want to have a productive dialogue here, you must get off your sanctimonious perch and see the situation in reality.
