Do you set your own GTAO goals?

My last goal was to get the angel tattoo (win every gamemode) and i completed that last week or so.

 

Current goal is still ranking up wether it means something or not (205 atm)

I recently reached my goal of the level of my main character being at least twice the number of players I killed. Currently I'm at level 610 with 296 player kills.

 

Otherwise my goals are simply getting more $ and RP. Oh, and getting CMM on day.

If by rank 500 this game hasn't dramatically changed in way of updates or actual DLC in the direction that the Freeroam Update has, I'll stop playing. I've realized a long time ago that I've spent so much time on GTA IV. It's my favorite game even to this day, made new friends, had awesome memories but I've skipped out so much on real life. I'm currently 358 or something - can't really recall my level so I got some long time to go at the rate I'm leveling up but 500 is a nice number. I'm wondering if I'll stop before reaching level 500 so that 500 is basically a checkpoint to really think about my GTA "life". I mean, I could spend that time on other games or make new friends but I'm so attached to GTA and the friends i actually got. I'm just unsure if it's gonna last if this game keeps being the same old thing. Minor tweaks ain't enough and I know that GTA:O is a platform that R* are building on but...yeah, I don't know. I'm indecisive as f*ck so having this goal is just my safety net.

On a much clearer slate, I want to own a boat trailer and tow it with my Sandking. One day, man.

Yea I do give myself goals but most of the time I get completely distracted and end up taking waaaaay longer than its supposed to take. My current goal is to buy the Coquette Classic but I keep spending money on nonsense, hopefully I'll get it by tomorrow.

I'm 178 and have set myself the target of getting all those accomplishment things that you can get.

 

I did set myself a target of getting all the race mods by winning loads of races in each class but for some reason some of the less played classes (sedans, coupes, suv's & offroad) have everything unlocked even though I promise you I have won no where near 50 in those classes. I wonder if I may have got modded on last gen without me knowingto have them unlocked but that seems unlikely.

 

And I am actually quite disappointed at that because I would've found it fun to unlock them myself.

I believe after the Lowrider update a lot of race unlocks had a level unlock added to them.

Im currently trying to get all the awards needed to make chrome rims free,which is a pain in the a$$ when you know that for the LTS last man standing award you need at least 6 people,and good luck finding those in LTS...

You only need 3 but you need to be on the side with 2 and your teammate to die first. Set to 7 rounds and find a friend if possible to help.. Otherwise let 2 randoms join. Make sure your teammate dies then you kill his killer

Yeh but my goals are generally simple. Some examples are to make $4 mill in 10 days, only from missions. Rank up from say 442 to 449 in a weekend or go a full week without any enemies killing me in missions. I pretty much always hit those goals.

i got over 47k player kills with just 90days, which put me on over 500kills per game day.

-Get my racing win/loss ratio even: DONE(It had 50 losses over one victory, all races were legit, with randoms, no user created bullsh*t);

-Complete every heist as a host: DONE;

-Get the Hydra: DONE;

-Get the Savage: DONE;

 

I've reached all these goals since the heists update dropped, I don't feel compelled enough to play the game anymore.

Back in 2013 I set two goals once I learned of them:

 

1. The Slayer Award a.k.a. The Burning Heart Tattoo

2. Team Carrier Award a.k.a. Grim Reaper Tattoo

 

They are Deathmatch awards.

 

When my 1st character got both it felt great, but then I HAD to get them for my 2nd character, the only one that took extra long was my 2nd character's Burning Heart tattoo as by then I was part of a crew and 100% of the deathmatches we played became the Team versions, then Heists came out and other game modes and it was hard to find alone time to get those 50 regular deathmatch MVPs.

 

I really don't have any other goals in the game.

I now really play just for fun and its great not to always have to win or be MVP.

I still get angry at incompetent DM random players but thats just me wanting people to get better or do the small things that make you a DM beast.
