Hi guys after much salivating and an off road test drive in SP, I'm seriously considering buying myself a 6x6 dubsta, can anyone give me the pros and cons of owning one please?

If you don't have an insurgent I'd recommend saving up and buy one over the Dubsta 6x6. But ultimately its up to you and if you do buy it expect some handling issues but it isn't that bad. Forgot to add it's one of the best off road vehicles in the game.

I got one and it's a great vehicle, good offroad and looks cool as hell. Cons I guess are cost and any players in the back are very exposed

It made light work of the Los Santos winter last year, can't wait to use it again this time

No cons... just all Pros.

Every online video Ive seen that compares the 6x6 with other trucks, has the 6x6 dominating ALL the competition; except for the Liberator which tied in score..

Here's two more, it wouldn't put them in video format in the same post for some reason...

My 6x6 is fully maxed out and is fast, tough (against impact, collision and bullets) and takes any terrain in it's stride.

On the downside it corners like a wet seal on an ice rink so take heed when speed is of the essence.

Definatley worth it if only for its derpy driving and with that I mean you can slide around corners like a boss in it with little fear of spinning out of controll.

I didn't find much difference in it's off-road capabilities to other similar vehicles, but it's very much a unique looking vehicle and definitely one to make a statement in :D

I replaced mine with an Insurgent, but that was just down to limited garage space. I had a lot of fun with the 6x6.

DarkSavageDeathlyCloud

the handling for the thing overall is realy meh

i had expected it to be a regular dubsta on steroids, but it lacks propper balance and propper traction

i must say overall performance and damage resistance are great

I particularly like the part where you drive OFF , Dead Mans Drop at the top of Chiliad, go banging, bouncing, rolling, tumbling alllll the way to the bottom.

Then just drive away, like there's nothing wrong with the truck! LOL

Last time I did that, I was driving an Injection and the damn thing exploded half way down... and did it once in a Sandking that exploded too! lol

Indeed, seemed a good way to do that. Also love how when I roll into the mechanic, no doors left, every panel bent, his first words are "what can the best mechanic in LS do for you?"

Perhaps call a priest?

Its absolute sh*te

The Sandking XL or SWB is better at everything except speed but when looking for a good extreme offroader who cares about speed

6x6 pros

Speed

Cons

Bad traction

Wide turn radius

Sinks in deep water quickly

Loses grip on extremely steep hills

Id go for the Sandking Xl or swb

If a vehicle is a personal vehicle it reduces its tendency to blow up stock

Adding just 40% armor makes it impossible for it to blow up on impact. It should be noted that non pvs will all explode on roof or side impact regardless of armor added just takes a harder fall with armor

The 6x6 is my best drift car :) It's a blast to drive, and I love the way it looks and the articulation in the wheels.

Good question, OP. I've got a Dubsta 6x6 right alongside my HVY Insurgent, but if I was on a budget or had doubts... maybe I'd skip it.

It's one of those vehicles that I bought way back and have stuck with it, not sure why. Maybe because noobs can't own it until level 80/100 (I can't remember) and it's the only vehicle I can think of with 6x6 drive, which is seriously mad with ridiculously bright tyre smoke just to make your presence really felt :)

But do you 'need' this car? No, I don't think so.

It's a good buy. Lots of customization, can seat 6, and is the best off roader in the game.

Anyone thinking about buying this car will save their money after looking at THAT. Ice-cream on wheels with a cherry on top.

This. It drifts and slides like it doesn't have four big-ass tires in back...

Get one. It's a great offroader, and having six seats comes in handy occasionally (like Pac Standard Signal when it's four heist members plus the code guy). Plus it's a goddamn 6 wheeled luxury pickup, what's not to like?

It's the most stable drift car in the entire game, and it has the best suspensions in the entire game. What's not to like?

If you want it, go for it. As for me, no offroad vehicle has impressed me so far.

Anyone know if i should get the 6x6 or just keep using my Merryweather Mesa? (mainly for offroading and rock climbing)

don't judge me

I just don't feel like dishing out the money and instantly regretting it.

Get a Sandking. It's the best rock climber period.

I was somewhat heavily into that anime at one point. (It's Mirai Nikki for non anime people) Edited by Nick1020

Well I found that the back end spins out far to easily, and the breaks aren't that good. Other than that its all good. : )
