Owned Helicopter Colours

I'm trying to decide what unarmed Helicopter I should buy, out of the Maverick, Frogger, and Swift. I've more or less rulled out the Frogger out, so it's mostly down to the cheap Maverick or the unique Swift. But before I decide I was wondering what colour does each helicopter come in when you buy them Online?

 

 

Some other questions:

 

- Can passengers use heavy weapons (Rifles and Machine Guns) from the Swift, as in the Maverick, Frogger, etc?

 

- Can players rappel from the Maverick? There's winches for it, and I've seen a screenshot of it once, but I haven't done it.

 

- Although HP is the same for all helicopters except the Cargobob, how does each chopper stand up to small arms fire?

 

- Is the Swift worth more than nearly twice the cost of the Maverick?

 

- What colour(s) does the Maverick spawn in?

 

- What colour(s) does the Swift spawn in?

Excluding Armed Helicopters and special variants.

except for the Swift, which you can chose between the two paint jobs upon purchase.

 

And no, players cannot rappel from any sort of helicopter.

If you have the money and you don't care about the massive price difference, go for the Swift.

Thanks for the answers, although the 3rd is a given as only the Cargobob can survive a hit from the Homing Launcher. I was rather considering how well they hold up to rifle fire.

I think certain vehicles have two preset paint jobs, I was wondering what those were for the Maverick, Frogger, and Swift (not gold or bravo). For example, the Insurgent IFV comes in Green or Black, the Besra comes in Green/Black or Grey/Yellow, and the Vestra comes in Red/White and another combination I can't remember right now.

Unless they removed it, you can rappel from the Merryweather helicopters but it's dicky. You have to be at a certain height and the ground below needs to be flat.

Under absolutely no circumstances should you buy the Maverick. It spawns everywhere, you can call Merryweather and jack one, call Lester and steal one, and it's one of the most boring things to fly in the game. Only the Mammatus gives it a run for its money.

I've been playing this game for 2 years and i never knew you can do that.

But its probably because i rarely call Merryweather, especially the for the helicopter pickup.

The Swift is the most awesome helicopter on the game. Really fast, sliding doors and retractable wheels, little things make that helicopter awesome

I think the Frogger looks the nicest, & it's pretty speedy too.

Swift is definatly the most awsome because it does not just spawn, its the fastest helicopter, it has doors at the back, the wheels fold in and out and it can gain in on a luxor

 

The frogger is more idiot proof though...cant kill youreself by running into the tail rotor, tail also cant be damaged by spinning against an object, its the easiest helicopter to fly...so yea..nice for when you cant fly...but it is slower then the swift

And like said...the maverick is a waste of space, dont bother

Get the Swift, price tag is hefty but so does everything else in this game, the Maverick spawns everywhere, it's slow and boring to fly too.

 

In fact, I wouldn't even get the Swift, it's big and not good enough for emergency maneuvers, I'd get the Buzzard instead

Swift may be faster, but it manoeuvres like a supertanker; if I had to buy an unarmed helicopter it would be the Frogger.

 

Of course, what I'd really like is a civilian version of the Police Maverick...

What you buy is what you get:

Swift Classic: Black silver

Swift Flying Bravo: Flying Bravo

Swift Deluxe: Gold

 

And out of the three the Classic is the most stylish by far while also being the cheapest.

Used to get white ones as well...but only as smuggler helicopters.
