Yea hes pretty fun to watch....when things get stupid he can nail the point to why it is stupid with one line...wich is enjoyable.

Just thought of it, You guys that want to play and explore peacefully have the perfect option, its called CAMPAIGN mode. Passive mode wasn't good enough and I have no idea why, You still shoot and kill cops and die in passive mode. You just cant kill other players and other players cant kill you. I see passive mode players together all the time showing off their cars, cruising around peacefully. Its already set up and complainers don't see it.

Since when can you shoot in passive mode? doesn't that defeat the purpose? passive mode is annoying, probably one of the most annoying parts of the game actually. Apart from the fact that passive mode is more widely abused than used in the way it was meant to be, it looks really fake to see a bunch of holograms floating around the city, it takes a lot of immersion out of the game, something rockstar wanted to focus on from the start.

Nothing more wrong. Damn, with passive mode you can't even join freemode events, and that's also already been said.

 

But we are the ones that don't see lol you instead are clearly seeeing and understanding everything: in fact, as we are repeating over and over that the funniest thing about friendly lobbies would be a new way of INTERACTING with other players your final solution is the smarter one: THE CAMPAIGN

 

I agree that R* will probably never introduce it, for the same reason people are insisting shutting down this idea even if it wouldn't affect the freedom to join a regular one and fight: 99% of KD warriors wouldn't be able to make a single kill anymore and would just leave the game.

Lol i am not in passive, i hate passive mode if you just read the previous posts you will get the point. I have a crew but i also care for those who haven't. And also, i (we) want to interact with randoms, new people, without knowing each other, without already being on my friendlist or in my crew.

 

Why french guys go abroad to find an awesome german girl when they have some pretty french chicks in their country? Why people go out instead of meeting always their homies from the neighborhood? Why God, why the hell is so hard to understand that in a game that offers so many possibilities with millions of players from around the world someone would like to do something different from consantly shooting each other at sight?

 

Speaking for myself, it's been two years i make freeroam fights with all kind of people, very few are real fighters and most are just pussies that run away if you're good enough to kill'em twice... but i have fun anyway. I also have more than a crew to play peaceful with so i'm more than fine with the game by now.

 

But the idea the OP had, for me, is awesome and fun will be 1000x. You go in a peaceful lobby, you cruise around with whoever. You go in the non-peaceful one, people really fights. No more trolls going in and out from passive mode, no more people that comes to you hoping you're AFK or simply a peaceful guy and then runs away when you start to shoot. Seriously, the only reason i see to prefer how we play by now is the easy kills we can get just hunting down easy targets

I think it's fine as it is. The map is big enough where you can do your own thing. Also, it's like real life - in an open world, you shouldn't always expect to be safe. What exactly would you do in a safe-only lobby anyway?

You are right, we will always find thousands of players in our same kind of lobby even if we split the playerbase in a thousand parts, cause this game has just sold too many copies I mean, i still manage to find full lobbies in RDR multiplayer 5 years after its release so definitely no problems for a guinness world records breaking entertainment product And i think it's pretty clear that a huge amount of players would be absolutely better if being split from griefers and trolls

 

Talking about what can be done in a friendly lobby there's a lot of thing that at this time are made only with friends or crewmates as meets of all kinds and, hopefully with an help from R* creating new kinds of freemode events, cooperative or competitive activities that could actually make sense without those jets flying as mosquitos over your head or pussies sniping from the rooftops and going passive at the first attempt of reaction As a matter of fact, more than finding what to do the meaning of this kind of lobby would be is discovering how to do it and how more fun can be also what is already featured in the game. A wheelie challenge make definitely more sense if it's actually won by the best wheelie and not by the guy that found the most isolated place to do it Doing your own thing it's already possible, this is true, but it always implies avoiding other players that in a multiplayer game is a bit of non-sense. You won't expect to be safe, as it's true that some people will always find their way to annoy you, but by now it's the exact opposite. By now, you actually expect that some idiot is coming to ruin your fun and are very surprised if this doesn't happen
