Team Deathmatch

2-30 Players

Forced weapons for better experience

I have actually played this job a few times with my crew ever sine atheistsw included it on one of his review episodes. When we play it though, it's usually in 1st person mode, as it plays well as a 1st person map. What way is it intended to be played? Would you like me to review it in 1st or 3rd person?

I think its better to play in first person mode since you won't be able to peak through the corners and makes the game a bit more thrill :)

Me and my crew loved this LTS. Really fun, especially with loads of people.

Blackhole

As a team, tactically eliminate the other team by forcing their vehicles into the inner circle (blackhole).

Hey there,

first of all: thanks a lot for your offer, you're doing an awesome job here and I really enjoy watching your vids! :)

As you might have guessed from all the flattering remarks, I am about to suggest a creation of my own. Well, actually two, so if you should decide to review me, just pick whatever sounds more interesting to you :karmaeater:

So, here we go:
Job Title: Shootout at Trevor's
Platform: PS3
Type: Team Deathmatch, 6-16 Players
R*-Link

Job Title: Long Way Up
Platform: PS3
Type: Deathmatch (FFA), 2-6 Players
R*-Link

And now I gotta run - places to be, people to kill. :miranda:

If R* is trying it out, why not you?

The Offer

After talking to Toni Cipriani, Salvatore Leone has sent Cipriani to the docks to pay off the leader of the dock strikers, Jane Hopper, so she'll let Sal use the docks to get drugs to Portland. Sal has his own men stationed nearby if anything goes South. As Toni arrives then gives Hopper the money, she runs off and a group of strikers approach Cipriani... (Based off The Offer mission in GTA Liberty City Stories. Some changes made for gameplay purposes.)

The Offer

Come on man, you know the rules, no pictures or videos. Trying to keep the thread looking clean so the video posts are easy to see and easy to find. It's maybe a bit OCD on my part but when I'm (or others) scrolling through, especially once there are more pages, it'll be easier to see which posts contain the review videos and which ones don't.

I kinda forgot. It's fixed now.

Capture GTA: Paleto Bike Thieves (PS4)

2-8 players

Steal bicycles with your bike theft ring in Paleto Bay. You'll be armed with nothing but a crowbar, and knife and bat wielding locals don't like your lowlife, bike-thieving kind around. Two psycho, sawed-off shotgun carrying evil clowns also have it in for you. Cops can get involved.

Pride can get the best of you in this match. If you get caught up in fighting with the locals, you're not stealing and delivering bikes. It is better to run and find easier pickings. If you are getting behind, look for opportunities to run over members of the opposing team trying to deliver a bike, and take it for yourself.

When on the run on foot, hop fences and run through backyards to avoid the angry locals and police. Remember, you're nothing but a slimy bike thief trying to make enough money to get a bag of toilet cleaner.

Mad Max: Thunder Road (2-22 players, 8 or more recommended)

A mashup of infamous setpieces from Fury Road and Thunderdome. The match starts as a GTA capture in an attempt to seize the tanker from Fury Road. If and when you die you'll be transported in the thunderdome arena.

Devin Weston Circuit

http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/ps4/jobs/job/_D1VyWEFSEKKxMBVApTfxA

1-30 players. Worked fine with 10 on contact, 30 might be tight ;)

Optimised for night playing, seems to work fine at any time though. Default is supercars, suits all classes.

Description

Short double bridged circuit at LSIA brought to you by Devin Weston, for no other reason than naming a multitude of tracks at the airport is becoming a pain in the erse.

We played this tonight and the other team complained that they couldn't get out the Thunderdome and it essentially just killed any competition in the match. I didn't see it from my side as I didn't die but there were a lot of grumbles. I asked someone to send me footage so I could have a look but it might be something you want to consider changing. The truck part definitely worked and I imagine this job would work well just battling for the truck rather than bothering with the thunderdome arena part.

It's supposed to be like that. There's a contest in GCCC where you have to do exactly that so I will not be changing it (if I wanna win). I recently made an overhaul of the match so I recommend playing it again as it's basically a different capture at this point.

@weechips The contest Dillono speaks of:

requires that players may only have one life in which they can capture the objective. If they die, they will respawn in a deathmatch (Ideally, not a spawn kill fest. Although, the only condition is that a certain amount of props and weapons must be put in to this area.) Obviously, a job that plays well will do better.

What is the contest exactly? To make a job in which people get stuck if they die? It doesn't sound too great for people playing IMO. I have played Zorvaines Cops N Crooks captures in which you get put to jail if you get killed and it's very enjoyable as you can actually get out and there are NPCs and decent spawns to still make it part of the fun and if you're on the outside then you still have traps and NPCs hunting you down. There is still a point, competition and enjoyment.

In your Mad Max job there is none of that. Over 2 rounds, I never died at all, got 1 kill and drove the truck once. I feel like I have could do much more in freemode in the same amount of minutes and I pretty much hate freemode. There was no competition or thrill or fun. Basically if you don't die then you take a truck from A to B or protect a truck fro non-existing enemies from A to B. If you die then you get trapped in a spawn kill fest in the quarry from which you can't escape, I might as well play a DM.

If this is what you intended or this is what your contest is then, cool, that's your prerogative but I didn't enjoy it and neither did the other 7 I played it with. If it was a job in which we were fighting and competing over the truck then that would probably be fun since I've played a Mad Max job like that before.

You said that you wouldn't be changing it but that it's had a big overhaul and completely changed. It can't be both. If it looks different then fine but it'll still play badly IMO as the fundamentals are the same, drop off a truck or get stuck spawn killing and neither sound that appealing so I'm not going to bother with this job again, especially because nobody would want to play it with me again. Feel free to take or ignore my advice however you see fit and good luck with your contest.

Bruh. The contest is a Capture-LTS-Deathmatch hybrid. I said I wouldn't be changing "it" as in the thunderdome. The capture aspect got a complete overhaul. The prize is 1 million GTA dollars. I might update it with removing thunderdome and the LTS part after the contest is over (about 2-3 weeks).
