R* Editor and GTA O TVs and Movie Theaters.

With people making some pretty cool movies now. Maybe R* could make better use of TVs and Movie Theaters.

 

Tvs in our safe houses really don't have much use anymore since R* allowed players to block viewers. But R* should allow us to bookmark videos on social club which can be viewed later on our TVs. So anyone in our safe house can sit down and watch them if we choose to play it on our tvs.

 

Second.. R* could start Verifying videos every week or month. And have a different video playing at each movie theater. Which could give some use for theaters,

Hulio, I'm totally on board with this too. It'd give people an incentive to get creative and as you said, give additional purpose to the movie theaters as well. R* Verification on movie clips would mean they could regulate the content and have regular competitions to keep the community interested alongside the usual updates. I often find I want to use the R* Editor but without a theme and a goal I end up losing interest.

I would be streaming porn 24/7 on my apartment and inviting squeakers so I could proceed to kick them out and slaughter them.

Imagine certain vids where only showing for a period of time from say month to month in cinemas

 

but you could access your friends' vids via the TV in apartment...and play your own vids as well...that would be cool!

I know one person alone can't change anything.. Especially little old me.

 

 

But this concept would have a nice impact on the social and creative sides of players.

This would be a great idea. They could run video competitions and have the winners featured at the cinema... it would give an incentive to go there then. Currently i only go there as part of a daily objective.

It's something I've been thinking of for a while, I think it'd be great. Something completely different from the usual stuff that goes on.

 

On a slightly similar note I'd like it if we could have our own photos framed in our apartments, it'd be a nice touch.

I'm almost certain that rockstar did want to use that idea of yours with online. I don't remember how long ago it was but it was with the pc release of the editor. Anyways I've been looking forward to it but it feels forgotten.

I can't even fly planes in multiplayer without gtao dropping connection after 1 minute. Streaming videos might be asking too much. Nice idea if it would be possible.

Your connection problems have nothing to do with videos being played tho.

 

I can fly planes for days and never drop connection.

Only just noticed this but it is an excellent idea.

 

I for one have not done much with the editor at all since it was released and although I don't think I'm much of a director I have made one

video which looks okay to me but not sure what the rest of the world would think as never published it, might do so now in the videos thread.

This is really interesting and kinda easy to make.

 

just let R* know that there is a special thread in GTAF where people are vosting for the best movie. The hard work is done by the community, and the only thing that is to be done is to upload the file in the game, and give ending credits to whoever is responsible for the movie.

 

So.. to make it happen it is up to us to start making those movies and rank them.

 

 

 

Movies made by players should be available in TV, but theaters should have a one new movie made by R* ever when the new DLC comes out.

for someone else to see it on your tv in your apartment, you'd force them to start downloading that content and their stream would be out of sync with yours.
