Simple thread my dear bruhs. Just state your top 5 and bottom 5 things in GTA V.

Let's roll.

My Top V(in no particular order):

1. Little details(won't go into much detail heheheehe)

2. General presentation of missions(lighting, camera work, locations)

3. Wilderness

4. Customizations

5. Dewbauchee Massacro and some other sport cars.

My Bottom V(in no particular order):

1. Story ending

2. Trevor

3. Lack of Vigilante and Import/Export missions

4. Lack of interiors

5. Linearity of some missions.

My Top V:(in order)

1. Random Events

2. Level/Mission design in Heists and most of the other main missions

3. Stunting with Bikes(the Sanchez in particular)

4. Detail in the world and NPCs designed in the world especially the tons of easter eggs and secrets

5. 3 charactar dynamic

My Bottom V(in no particular order):

1. lack of criminal minigames(such as gang terretories, Trevors base building etc.)

2. linearity in some missions there it isn't necessarry(like in one of the paparazzi missions)

3. lack of Stealth usage and silencer usage in Free Mode(however the Stealth in the missions is done realy well IMO)

4. interiors not being designed for combat encounters(you loose your weapons when you go inside, AI is not prepared for interior camping)

5. lack of Random Events in quantity

Alright, I'll keep it simple and short.

Top:

1. Michael

2. Blaine County and countryside in general

3. Themes

4. Writing (when the game decides it wants to be serious for a second)

5. The return of features like vehicle customization and planes

Bottom.

1. Everything in the story past Fame or Shame, that doesn't deal with Michael's arc or the FIB plot

2. The humor

3. Mission design and the direction of the gameplay in general

4. Trevor, post-Fame or Shame

5. Lack of interesting and rewarding side missions and activities

Top 5

The characters, especially Trevor and Michael. Two of the best in gaming history.

The world. Huge, detailed and totally gorgeous on current gen.

The humour.

The amount to do.

Being able to turn on GTA and just go for a drive. IV didn't have this and it's the first GTA since SA that we have just wanted to wander around and have a look in. IV was just a big dirty city with nothing to see.

Bottom 5

Tonya

The clunk character movement. Can't strafe or turn well, can only swim in circles.

Frank becoming a whiny bitch halfway through the game

No territories

The map layout.

4. Misogyny and sexism.

Please tell me white knight, what hatred of women and sexism was shown in this game?

The bad:

Honestly, most cars i see or garages i step into, im welcomed by flashing bright colors, huge spoilers, neons, custom tires and limo tinted windows.

Top V:

1.- The story.

2.- Graphics.

3.- Audio.

4.- Amount of vehicles.

5.- Michael De Santa.

Bubbling under: The mysteries and the mission Did Somebody Say Yoga.

Bottom V:

1.- Map layout (I love the map, but it could've been done differently to better effect. It feels like they put LS in the bottom just so they could have you drive from the western highway, up around Paleto, and down the eastern highway, to give you that highway feeling. The highway feeling will ONLY be there if you have a much larger map).

2.- Car customization (I love that it's there, but too many of the cars has the same boring options. Just add a single option to a car that no other car has, and it's way more fun).

3.- Gun customization (This was a blunder. Again, it's nice to have it, but if every gun feels more or less the same, there's no point in it. Should've been made exactly like in Max Payne 3. Every gun feels unique there).

4.- The special abilities (Again, nice to have, but it feels underutilized. They had to test this in some game, and testing is good, but it's not the right step for GTA).

5.- 3 character switch system (Good that they tried it out, but 2 would've been better. I always wondered why Frank was there at all, and I chose option C to get rid of him, though it didn't happen. They should've had option C kill Frank and have Trev move into his house in the hills).

Top V:

1-The story

2-The map

3-The amount of vehicles along with vehicle customization

4-Attention to detail

5-The protagonists

Bottom V:

1-No SP DLC

2-Missing activities exclusive to Online

3-Short story

4-Ran outta things so I'll just say that the Alamo Sea is not salty enough

5-What happened to Johnny K.

This is so hilariously stupid. How does this even make sense?

What don't you understand? It's simple:

1.- As option A kills off Michael, and option B kills off Trevor, option C should've killed off Franklin. If you want to save all, there should've been an option D.

2.- Option C (The way I explained) should kill Frank.

3.- So Frank's dead.

4.- Trevor takes over Frank's house. It always bothered me how Trevor is a multi-millionaire at the story's end, and still lives in his trailer.

Top:

Detail.

Variety.

Map.

Director mode.

Editor.

Bottom:

Console specific stuff.

I don't care much for online/SP exclusives, never been sure why the annihilator can't be in SP, bigger things are worse. Stock cars and Dukes o'death would add more variety to online.

Random events, property missions and the odd other thing tend to disappear still, never to come back. Vehicle dirt disappeared in an old save for me. The crowbar, Molotov, golf club and baseball bat disappear sometimes too. Still.

No SP DLC announcement or sign it's ever gonna happen.

Current gen vehicle damage.

The good

1 - General level design (map, details, graphics, etc)

2 - Heists structure

3 - Original music score

4 - Random events

5 - Wide array of customizable settings on PC

The bad

1 - Online

2 - PC delays

3 - Poorly written storyline

4 - Necessity of a smartphone app for additional content (Chop training for example)

5 - Turbulence when flying (Should be eliminated after maxing flying skill)

Because he wants to live in a trailer I guess. Trevor don't need no money.

It wouldn't be hard to write around that now would it?

We should have had the option to kill Frank. He was do underdeveloped.

My Top V:

1. The three protagonists (specifically Michael and Trevor's relationship and personalities)

2. An entertaining storyline that didn't take itself too seriously, but was great at the same time (reminded me of a Tarantino movie)

3. An enjoyable and fun gameplay, even after the story missions are completed (as opposed to that of IV)

4. A vast world with a lot of detail (but I expected a little bit more from the wild side)

5. Amazing radio stations (mostly Vinewood Boulevard Radio and Los Santos Rock Radio)

My Bottom V:

1. The inclusion of hunting missions (although optional)

2. Weak and forgettable antagonists (although the game was never really about them)

3. The main story (not counting "Strangers & Freaks") was not long enough (although a lot of the missions of IV felt irritating and repetetive, and GTA V with "Strangers & Freaks" is almost as long)

4. Sometimes the satire felt a little too forced (not necessarily a bad thing)

5. The rock station(s) in GTA V felt a little too soft in comparison to the rock stations in the previous GTA games, and I absolutely hate the inclusion of Britney Spears and Rihanna on the soundtrack (at least there's no Madonna and Nicki Minaj)

Edit: Honorable mention: GTA Online, which is killing the series, and how much V emphasizes on it (although I count them as two separate games)

Top V:

-Graphics;

-Smooth animations and cutscenes transitions;

-Soundtrack and engine sounds;

-Improved cover and shooting systems;

-Amount and variety of vehicles;

Bottom:

-Lack of stuff to do after finishing the storyline and reaching 100% completion;

-Most of gun sounds needs improvements;

-Storyline and it's characters(all of them);

-The map layout;

-Physics in general, including vehicular damage.

Top:

-Vehicle customising.

-Player customising.

-Detailed map.

-Nice vehicle variety.

-Michael.

Bottom:

-Forgettable antagonists.

-Very few likeable characters.

-Tries way too hard to be serious and humouress without striking a good medium.

-Watered down physics compared to GTA IV.

-Disappointing amount of side missions for the scope the game tries to present itself as.

1. Snapmatic Photography

2. The weather effects

3. Flying (and free DLC aircraft)

4. The music.

5. The landscape.

Bottom V

1. The story was good but too short

2. The ending was.....weird.

3 The ocean, impressive but I didn't appreciate it.

4. The driving physics.

5. Too much focus on Online Multiplayer gameplay setting a worrying precedent for future GTA titles.

My top 5 (no particular order):

1. Level of detail

2. Physics, animations and tangibility within the world (Euphoria) although they're sh*t compared to GTA IV

3. Driving mechanics

4. The map

5. Lack of loading screens within the open world

Cons:

1. Online circlejerk/No story DLC

2. Lack of side content. Despite the detailed world, it's shy of interaction and things to do

3. Story, particularly the FIB subplot and lack of character development

4. Insanely accurate robocops

5. Clunky character movement and gunplay

Overall I dislike how streamlined the game is. This is becoming a popular trend in modern AAA game design.

EDIT: seems everyone here loves Michael.

Bottom:

1. Pathetic map design solely with multiplayer in mind.

2. Underdeveloped characters specially Frankling the egg: Accomplished everything CJ could in entire san andreas in just few missions, dialogues yet, we have some rabid zombies here defending and trying to derail the thread again.

3. Forgettable story with zero replay value (objective), forgettable protagonist that fail to create zero sense of redemption to take them out.

4. Contrived mystery that tries too hard to emulate the bigfoot and ratman phenomena.

5. Short campaign to haul people to multiplayer.

Top:

1. Technical feat.

2. Gorgeous sceneries.

3. Detailed water world.

4. Acceptable wilderness.

5. Ingame internet.

Top V:

-Vehicles
-Animals (Althouge should have been done like in RDR but what we have now is fine for the time being)
-Detaild Map
-Better movement compared to IV
-The Original Game Music

Bottom V: Please edit your post to reduce this to just five

-The random event are not random enough (RDR had lots of them and they could happen anytime)
-The weapons (The mechanics and the animations are bad, they sound like nerf guns. Should have been like Max Payne 3. Even IV had better sound effects.)
-Lack of interior (and we should be able to enter the missions exclusve interiors)
-Lack of property like the ones in online (was advertised on the gameplay trailer)

-Online exclusive content (Masks, gang wars, Lowrider, heist stuff. these stuff should have been added to single player)

Edit: Done!

Please stick to the brief as in the OP:

Simple thread my dear bruhs. Just state your top 5 and bottom 5 things in GTA V.

Top 5 (only 5)

Bottom 5. (only 5)

No chit chat, no arguing, no spamming, no flaming or this thread will go in the same direction as all the others and then... no thread.

Thanks.

Top V

I.Rockstar Editor-Imagine the infinite possible videos you can create and share with the world.

II.DLCs released free of cost(That's something you don't get to see everyday).

III.A wide array of vehicles to buy, steal, customize.

IV.Highly optimised PC port.

V.Snapmatic it's an improvement when you compare it with IV.

Bottom V.

1.Over-emphasis on Online.

2.Driving is tid-bit simplified.

3.Limited garages to buy.

4.Absence of the classic GTA side missions like Vigilante,Paramedic, etc.

5.Limitations on snapmatic storage(One of the annoyances).

That's all I can think of.
