What did you enjoyed at GTA V?

I can't be the only one thinking Los Santos isn't that detailed. Well atleast on LG don't know about CG. But conpared to IV meh.

I'm talking graphically detailed. Beyond the graphics it may well as be an empty cardboard box due to the blandness. Maybe it was fridge brilliance of R* to make LS a plastic city, but it doesn't feel "alive" like IV.

huh?

In V people are actualy doing things, at almost every iconic place there are people wandering, lieng on the beach, weightlifting, jogging, cleaning windows, partieng on a mini van bus, looking for the way, having a prostitute...

the only thing IV has is pretty much a postman.

And the detail regarding the map in V is objectively better than IVs, in V every place is not only gameplay wise but also realisticly accurate representing real life counterparts in LA and simultaniously offering a huge amount of detail on the streets, shops, etc.

Ehre you're wrong. People are doing more things in GTAIV then in V. The only thing i mostly see is, people on their smartphones and smoking. In GTAIV there is so much more. Also no there aren't many details on the streets like in GTAIV, the streets feel like plastic. The shops are more detailed but thats because there are like 6 shops, which all look the same. (24/7 and the liquor store) The only thing which is more detailed in LS are the buildings.

Give me some examples of what people do in IV?

Because I cannot rememmber any, besides maybe one or two drug dealers.

Homeless people at fires, standing in line to get in a club, taking money out of atm machines, buy hot dogs, drink coffees, throw trash out of the car... Those are just some things NPC's are doing everywhere. While in GTAV things only happen at certain places like the beach. If i take that in there would be: NPC's who bowl, do darts, drink, watch TV, shop inside porn shops, actually being inside a club and dancing...

All of above mentioned is also in V; in addition to the other living NPCs doing garden work, works on the streets etc.

Yeah there really are people dancing, playing bowling, throwing trash out of the window, being in pornshops? Could you show me where and i just listed a few, i bet there some users who could list more.

No I was talking about "at fires, standing in line to get in a club, taking money out of atm machines, buy hot dogs, drink coffees, throw trash out of the car."

Other than that there are also people in shops buying stuff,

There is people dancing, playing golf and tennis, and racing. Some throw cigarettes out car windows. No bowling or being in pornships, but people in clothing and other shops. IV and V have about the same amount of things pets do. Different but not much more or less on either game.

If you assaulted a woman in LC, there will be like 10 guys coming at you to defend her. Unlike those "men" of LS.

Why did you write "men"?The dudes don't even rescue a damsel in distress. Just running away while phoning the law.

Yeh so? Women also don't help men getting punched.

Actually men will defend women if you're stalking them, but I wouldn't really want to get in a fight with somebody who can flat out knock somebody in a second.

Men do help women, although whipping out a gun makes them run away. They also seem to think you're harassing a woman just by talking to them sometimes. A 'hey how ya doing' to a woman can sometimes get the same reaction as punching them, although the dialogue is usually different depending on what you did.

I guess in the real world, if a man walks up to a random stranger who's talking to someone else and asks them how they're doing, standing 2 and a half inches away from someone staring at them, would be seen as harassing, or rape, just with less chance of any other strangers doing anything about it, apart from maybe filming it. V's pedestrians sometimes film it. The bastards :O

This forum makes me laugh.

We've got about a dozen threads all asking the same question (what do you hate about GTA V?) and about the same number of threads asking the flipside of that question (What do you love about GTA V?)

These discussions have been done to death countless times.

The detailed garbage cans outside of homes defined by class. In the ghetto, there's trash in almost every step. In rich neighborhoods, you see properly closed trash cans not full of sh*t. What you don't know is that the game is representing that the ghetto isn't afraid to show their problems, but the rich people try to suppress them as hard as they can. Deep, I know.

So... realism then.

Most people will leg it when they see anyone come up to someone and start wailing on them. Calling the law is pretty much your only recourse as getting yourself beaten to a pulp for someone you don't know and might even have had it coming (harsh, maybe, but you never know who did who's wife for example) is really not on anyone's to do list.

Right now I like to think that I'm one of those people that would risk helping, but that's just because I've never been in that situation before.

Back on topic: I like the whole thing really. I must, since I'm still playing since PS3 release day.

Now on PS4 I mainly enjoy the customisation online. If there's something to be customised, I will bloody well customize it.

To be honest, now that I've played Story twice and spend all my time online, I only still do when my buddy is online as well. On your own it's just less... Public sessions just get you killed repeatedly and I somehow always wind up with complete yahoos in missions and heists.

The Map

The Open/Free feel of the game compared to IV

The Characters (though a few were forgettable)

The Humor (though the story itself was mostly garbage)

The Weapons and New Vehicles

Being able to play as 3 Different characters (Franklin was slightly under-developed but oh well)

The Radio Stations (some of the best since San Andreas was released)

TBH, there's not much to enjoy in GTAV besides the cars and vehicles. If you find a feature enjoyable, and spend some time with it, you will find it to be limited and boring.

Franklin + sport clothes + aviators + Chop + jogging on the beach = all I did.

That's about it. This game got boring.

Well, I still enjoy it.

Mostly, The plot and action, but Cars & Tuning is awesome and now, when I finished the game, I spend daily (in the game) about 1Mill $ on cars.

I enjoyed a lot in V. One of the things I enjoyed the most were the NPC's that unlike what some people here tend to say do way more things than just smoking and being on the phone, which is one of the reasons why you should take most of the posts in this section with a grain of salt because some people obviously didn't played the game long enough or just speed through it and then come here telling things that aren't true at all.

Sorry, I just had to, some people aren't able to keep on topic anyway. :p

Man, there's a lot to love about the game. I think there are also a lot of legitimate criticisms.

But some of the things I love are:

-Los Santos and the surrounding regions

-3 playable characters, all with their own really fleshed out storylines and interesting back stories

-Trevor! lol Man there is something so awesomely psychotic about the character!

-Driving is much improved! I particularly love the complete and utter absurdity of going off road and climbing mountains in an Infernus or Comet. lol Too funny!

-Animals to interact with

-The story, writing, comedy, and dialog

-The acting is really good, too.

-Love the single player heists and the incredible mission depth

-Graphics and visuals are nice. I love just exploring the world in a way I haven't enjoyed since San Andreas.

-I love that you can carry EVERY SINGLE weapon at the same time and that you can really lift your own ammo cap by doing Ammunation challenges!

-Flight School and the Flying Time trials are fun as f*ck!

-Replayable missions are a nice touch.

-100% completion (particularly if you get EVERYTHING done, not just the "requirements") is long enough to be a satisfying accomplishment, but not so long it becomes boring.

-Chilliad is really nicely re-designed. I really appreciated it when racing from the top of the mountain to the bottom against Dom. I have since gone back and explored it by helicopter, bicycle, and Sanchez.

-I have recently started hunting Security Vans just for fun, even though I got all 10 Random events on my save. For some reason, I am finding it really amusing to seek creative ways of liberating the money from them!

-I really enjoy using the aqueduct to escape the cops. They almost never seem to find me down there.

-The "friend activities" are a helluva lot more fun than they were in IV. I think that while I don't like tennis, golf, or darts as a rule, they are actually kind of fun in a strange way in this game.

-Customizable cell phones. Not sure why I like this, but I do.

-variety of terrain and landscape both in Los Santos proper and the northern desert regions.

I can go on, but that works for now. ;)

Dangerous and sad

- I really do enjoy trevor and TPI. It's such an interesting concept. Hope it's expanded in the story DLC.-

Chiro pretty much said all that I love about V
