Buzzards are pretty useless against jets.

I take down jets w my buzzard fairly regularly. Usually have to dodge a few missiles, but get em evading w the lockers then switch to free aim for the kill. Or just keep em busy w the lockers, scrubs usually succumb. A good jet pilot will take me out before I have a chance though, but most of them seem to be in bad sport lobbies so I don't run into that too often.

Any jet pilot with some intelligence will gain altidude and strike from above with the cannon, there is nothing helis can do about it.

 

This is especially problematic w the Lazers, not so much w the Hydra...a great tactic to lure a Hydra to its death is to be sky high directly above him, by the time he's in missile range he'll have no momentum and makes an easy target. I learned that one the hard way, in my Hydra.

ive taken down 3 jets in one fight i fully disagree i am a master of the buzzard and fight anything and 99% of the time WIN!

what system u play on? I wanna add u.. I'm pretty stellar at Buzzard and need someoen good to dog fight against, and also gang rape others in tandem.

yep lol and I just cringe every time the majority of the community always defends the most absolute broken aspects of the game such as the homing launcher and marksman rifle strafing, seriously, all of it is a joke and the cherry on top is giving free aim it's own auto aim

Not really, you just need to learn how to evade in a Buzzard. Hold R1 or L1 (or one of the bumpers if on Xbox) and tilt the stick the same direction, you'll rotate and tilt away and the missile can't bank hard enough to hit you.

 

If they're using the cannons they stand a better chance but you can still evade with tricky flying.

 

I've taken down numerous jet griefers with my buzzard. They either crash in their own trying to dodge my missiles, or they end up getting hit.

Use the tall ass buildings to hide or crash into them. Either way works.
