Why are the heist payouts so sh*t?

Finished the Criminal Mastermind Challenge two or three weeks ago. I've inadvertedly made $5M since then. I don't grind. I don't chase bounties. And I spend way too much time in free roam paying for armored Kurumas and ammo. I farm cars and jump on whichever missions/heists appeal to me at that moment. I play an hour or two a day during the week and on the weekends as time permits...

Incidentally, I've made $2.5M in the 6 days since I posted that.

There's no way you can make that kind of money in six days by playing an hour or two a day and dicking around. You might as well give up because nobody believes you.

LOL. I'm not lying. I have nothing to gain by lying to you. A few missions here, sell cars intermittently, jump on a couple of heists trains, get lucky and land in a couple of finales... Easy money.

And Pacific Standard can EASILY be completed in under an hour. With decent randoms. God, you sound broke and bitter.

I'm not broke, and making money pretty steadily, but the amounts you're saying in is bullsh*t.

Not as steadily as you could/should be, from the sound of it. And my character's bank account would like to refute your claims of bullsh*t.

Libya?! Dude that's right in the centre of the world map. Can play with Europe & Asia.

I give up (again)

Not everyone lives in Asia you know.

And Libya isn't in the "center" of the map. Try again, failed troll.

You are amazing

Well, it's not hard to understand: you have two alternatives a) grind b) Shark cards. Sorry, 3: c) hacking/modding

Heist payouts aren't that bad per se, but it can really be a waste of time if you happen to play with the wrong randoms and b) because the technical side of this game is atrocious. Heists are extremely bad in this regard, players losing connection/ mission won't start happen frequently + players leaving the session if you play with randoms, and if it happens you get thrown into the never ending world of loading screens and lobbies. And nope, this is not because my hardware/connection sucks @ apologists.

Really, it would be tolerable if this game wasn't a giant loading simulator, which makes it feel even more of a time sink than it alreadly is.

Oh, and the prices for the dlc stuff really are a joke, 400k just for the upgrade to allow tuning? Please...

On the other hand: once you have everything, games like these get boring, so be careful what you wish for.

I made 1.5 million last night on Pac Standard and it's the least I have made in the last week. Type in Pac Standard glitch and find the thread on here with instructions. This actually works.

Ha ha dude, stuff your morality in a sack sir. This is a video game, I'm not bilking anyone out of their life savings (and no modding of the program here, just found a glitch that apparently Rock Star knows exists and has decided not to patch it).

Not that I owe you an explanation, but I spent one weekend where I failed 10 times in a row (at the very end). Apparently Rock Star put a patch in there, then gave a very deceptive error message that kept me doing it over and over again. I spent significant time on the phone with Rock Star and got a bunch of run around (and lies) simply because they are protecting their Shark Card Market. Welp, I have rectified my own grievance. What's ironic is that it is this series of events that lead me to stumbling on this glitch in the first place (good old fashioned American ingenuity).

But you enjoy grinding out Rooftop Rumble. It's a noble existence. I will bow before you when I see you online. #tiredoftwatwaffles

i made over 2million in just 4 days, play a mission here and there and dicking in freeroam. i only play like 2-3hours a day, so that kind of money is possible.

heck if you have friends you can play pacstan 1 time a day, thats like an hour incluiding setups and you can still come up with 2.5mill in a week.

Stop bullsh*tting. Most missions pay out less than 20k. But let's say every mission you did paid out 20k. Then you'd have to have done 100 missions in four days, aka 25 missions a day. One mission takes at least ten minutes. There's no way you can do 25 missions in less than three hours.

And that's if every mission you did paid out 20k, which I highly doubt, 'cuz usually only setup missions pay out that much.

The man speaks the truth. Put even the slightest bit of effort in and the game spits cash back at you.

PLay smart - i.e. use Pegasus vehicles, don't spam expensive weapons where cheap ones will suffice, let the missions reach the maximum payout in terms of the time taken and pick the right missions. Don't waste time in freemode or buying crap you don't need and you'll have stacks of an obese nature in no time.

Double money heists a while back changed things for me. I made a sh*t load of cash during that time but on the downside it's made it extremely hard for me to get motivated to play them for the normal pay. I'll grind the sh*t out of Fleeca and Pacific Standard before an update drops and that's it. I joined a Series A finale in error the other day and my cut was about $75,000. It was painfully boring and I could have made more cash playing Rockets v Insurgents in the time it took due to other people dying. Yeah yeah.... don't play with 'randoms'..... I know I know.

Its still called a glitch. Doesn't matter if the devs left it alone or not, its STILL a glitch.

I would "cheat" in anything in Online unless it gives me an unfair advantage over people and/or it gives me a "very short shortcut" to get what I want (illegally, "software wise") like money-glitching.

i dont know you but i dont earn nothing by lying about stuff.

i dont grind, so me doing 25 missions in a day it just not gonna happen.

i play the game for fun, i have over 130-40million stashed away, i dont need money but money still rolls in.

a typical session for me goes like, spawn a gang car to sell, do a random mission, join freeroam, hunt bounties, maybe do my dailies, join lts(rockets vs insurgent), participate in freeroam event, join 2-3 lamar missions, back to freeroam.

on any given session i endup with no less than 300k this is whats left over after i purchase my ammo and paying all the insurance fees i pay for the cars i destroy.

every monday i deposit the money into my second character and start the week with $0 and end up with a 1-2million+ by the end of the week.

right now i have $1,224,506 in my account, this is whats left after buying ammo and paying insurance fees and i pay A LOT of them, so i can say i have earned well over 1.5-6mill just this week.

earning money is easy and the fact people struggle its just beyond me.

There's no way you can do all that sh*t in two hours, fail troll

so playing the game efficiently earns me the "troll" label...

ok!

you keep crying about money, while i keep racking millions!

Well, that response is interesting. Where are you drawing that line? Pac Standard tells you to ride the bikes over the cliff and to jump off and parachute. It's obviously safer to drive a car over then drive it off the cliff and bounce on down into the ravine. What about going into the apartment to get a Kuruma out? Is that a "very short shortcut?" Which of these, if any at all, are acceptable? Not sure that is the standard you can use.

Why not comment on how I got jobbed out of pay for 10 finalies (this wasn't just mine over and over, but several people's, which means I would have been paid on multiple ones)? Why no issue with this?

We can agree to disagree I guess. I also don't think the "heist double week" is fair either. I had to travel for work that week and simply couldn't play. Why is the exact same effort worth more 1 week than it is the rest of the time?

Whatev. I just find it amusing how sanctimonious some get over doing (whatever you call this) in a video game over fake cash.

tbh every connection problem i've had with this game, turned out to be a setting in my router. since i've tweaked a few settings, i literally never have any issues.

the problem is not everyone is a home network enthusiast, and they don't want to take the time to research the 100 settings in their router or buy their own gear, so everyone will run into trouble at some point depending who you are playing with. the rented modem/routers from the cable companies are complete trash, but sadly that is what most people are working with.

Ah, I should've been clear. Sorry. I'm actually referring to money glitches and money glitches alone. Using the A.Kur. in the PSJ isn't a money glitch per se (more or less a "glitchy" strategy), but the PSJ GLITCH is a money glitch. You're exploiting the system by avoiding the "Heist Host Cooldown" thing AND in the same time you're gaining cash. Using the A.K on the other hand only makes the whole thing easier, you still need a good driver to do all this.

No, wrong. I called out AM30 for criticizing others for how they play the game. I could care less how he plays the game.

And this was your response to why do you care: "I care because, ya know, people keep telling me to glitch?!?!?"

Um, so? They tell you to glitch. You say, no I don't want to. Why is it more complicated than that? Why does it matter if THEY do? The information was presented on here as an alternative to those who claim there is no way to make money without spending hours playing the game or buying Shark Cards. You don't find it legit or don't want to do it, no problem. So I repeat the question, why do you care if others do?

Uh, I never said "I care about OTHER playing glitching". The dude literally didn't understood one thing of what I just said. Not my fault nevertheless.

In my reply to you I simply said that I don't want to participate in any Money Glitch, not matter what it is. He took it as "go fuk urself for glitching!!!!1" and attacked me for it when I didn't even MENTION Glitchers. I simply said "I want to play legit", he got angry.

And for the last time, this whole debate is about EARNING money. GAINING cash the legit way. Glitches aren't in the debate at all.
