Why are the heist payouts so sh*t?

The Humane Labs raid, which is by far the heist I see the most when doing a quick job heist, rewards $540,000 on normal mode. The "final" heist of GTA Online, the Pacific Standard job, rewards $1000,000 on normal mode.

Usually if you're not the host you get 15% or less. In quick job heist, I've seen the Humane Labs raid the most by far, and I've never seen the Pacific job ever.

Considering the time you have to put in (on average I have to replay the mission at least five times because someone always f*cks up), and the prices of stuff you can buy in GTA Online, the payout is really sh*t.

By comparison, the final heist in the singleplayer pays out a whopping $201,600,000.

If you want a decent apartment in GTA Online, you have to drop at least a couple of hundred grand. And then there's a sh*t ton of money to spend on good looking cars. Not to mention tuning them, which is expensive as sh*t. Hell, even clothes in GTA Online are expensive.

Why do the heists give such a sh*tty payout? It's really hard for me to believe that a couple of guys would infiltrate a high security government operation for "just" a couple of hundred grand, which they have to split up between the four of them.

Well if you have a good crew the payouts are better than any other mode for your time...otherwise, you can stick to grinding missions for cash, make around 100k per hour. Or buy shark cards. You can complain on here all you want, but it won't change a thing.

You must not play gta online too much. The obvious answer is shark cards. It's gta online's main income. If you can find a crew or a group that's dedicated on pac standard grinding you can easily make a good half million.

Yeah I think the pay is crap compared to PS, but it's a fun heist and not all heists are equal, so it is cool. PS is kind of boring because we grind it so much, but still is ok.

Never do a heist for less than 15% even if you a final hopper, don't expect 20% if you didn't help with setups. 10% or less is just a greedy host.

Do you own heists to be guaranteed part of the finale and to get 40% including the fee to start the heist.

As people said shark cards if you don't have time or play heists, money is not bad.

Played them all so many times I can do them pretty much on auto pilot now. I like to get between 15-25% if I can but I'll ready up for 10% on Pacific Standard if I absolutely have to. Easy work, easy money. My friend and I can play through Pacific Standard four times in a day taking turns to host. And that's taking it relatively easy and doing other stuff too. If people are broke it's because they are lazy or just poor players.

It's all designed to keep you hustling (or buying shark cards). The online portion of this game is designed so it can be difficult to get ahead. No use in bitching and moaning. It just IS.

Some DO get ahead. Several ways to do it. Play smart, don't blow up personal vehicles and avoid the free roam money black hole is a critical first step.

for such easy missions, i'd say heist payout are really good!

i mean we have guides, videos and other tricks available, heist are easy, nice payouts, the biggest isdue are the crap people playing them.

If you're not making money fast enough, have the Pacific Standard finale ready to go and find a friend who's done the same. When you host, take 0%. The trick is to close the game just as you're about to hit the final checkpoint in the dinghy. Your teammates will see "player left," but if you timed it right, the cutscene will initiate and your teammates will be paid. Meanwhile, you'll come back into the game with the Pacific finale ready to go again.

If you have a friend willing to do the same, you can take turns giving each other 50-70% without having to do any setups.

lol at complaining about the price of apartments. You can get a high end apartment with just 200k. You can make that in a week just by doing the daily objectives. The only thing that I think is kind of ridiculous is low rider upgrade prices. The upgrade costs more than a lot of sports and super cars. Seems stupid that you can buy an Audi R8 or an Aston Martin for like 130k, but it costs around 300k to upgrade an old, slow, car just so it can jump.

If they didn't change the mission payout system to be based on time, you would have gotten money quicker by grinding say rooftop rumble in an hour than the poor heists payout for 3 hours. GG Rockstar tricking people into grinding something that takes 3 hours.

Well considering they can be replayed and the fact that they aren't all that difficult....

Really? Because I just failed nine times on the EMP placement mission because two people did not understand basic stealth tactics.

Why the hell are you putting heists on normal?

The payout is fine. I think the OP's problem is that he's not with a decent group of friends or crew members. I rarely join randoms in heists. It's too much of a gamble. But if I do, and we fail more than three times, I back out. There comes a point when the juice is no longer worth the squeeze.

90% of the time playing with randoms results in failure upon failure. Hard mode? No thanks.

really show me where you can buy a Audi R8 for 130k and same for Aston Martin. I assume you mean in the game and not real life
