Should Rockstar put back the Fire Extinguisher?

It has all it's code in the game's files. And with the help of mods, it could be obtained and used as a fully functioning 'weapon'. It can even extinguish fires. So, sooner or later, they have to add that fire extinguisher back into the game It is literally the only fully functioning weapon cut from the game. So should they add it back?. Into both SP and MP of course.

Only if I'm able to extinguish fires coming from the engine block(before the car blows up from too much damage).

 

That way I could slam my cars without worry about getting it undriveable.

But you will have to get super close to the player in order to do so. How will it work exactly? Will they just cough and fall down? Will it restrict their ability to use their weapon in the process? If so, then I can see players trolling with it on a daily basis. I don't know, maybe going into passive mode and then disabling it behind their back for the sole purpose of hosing them down?

Same way as in San Andreas. Can't do anything whatsoever while getting sprayed and your health slowly drains away.

Yes, it's a pretty cool weapon (I have used it with mods), but it would have to be nerfed in some kind of way or else these forums would be full of threads complaining about it.

You wouldn't even get close to enemies to use it. Sure it's a novelty, but it's use isn't practical. Maybe in some missions or something.

It wouldn't make sense for it to be refilled at Ammunation. I mean, if it is a weapon, then it would be consistent to get it refilled at Ammunation, but realistically* it wouldn't make much sense. Maybe you should have to go to a fire station to refill it?

 

* I recognize that much of GTA has very little basis in reality, and I do not expect aspects of the game to be designed in a way that resembles reality.

Maybe by picking up fire extinguishers that are all over the place. The ones on the walls, the floors, the floors near the walls etc.

Ironic, ain't it? Even my favorite weapon is a Molotov Cocktail (According to the number of kills i had with the weapon and social club.)

Also, it's not the only cut weapon. I was using the railgun and BZ gas last night, too.

Fire Extinguisher would be pretty handy in situation where your objective vehicle is burning and you have to put down the fire, before you fail the mission.

If you were within grappling distance of someone, I imagine using the fire extinguisher would cause you to hit them with it. Kind of like when you're that close with most firearms, you don't shoot, you strike with it.
