Can hackers now put "bad sport" on you?

I hadn't played the game for a couple of days, but today I gave it a chance. Maybe all the hackers were gone somehow.

 

Anyways, I played for a while and got a 2000 "good sport" bonus. Then I blew up someone in a Kuruma. Instant bad sport. For a month.

Also, suddenly my t20 started changing colors and somebody else drove off in it...

 

Obviously, I tried restarting the game and everything. But still the dunce cap, and a month worth of bad sport!

 

Have Rockstar changed something about the bad sport system? Or did a modder somehow put this on me?

 

I might really give up on this game now Too bad, I really wanted to see how this game was with snow.

You even get good sport bonuses if you're a complete asshat, maybe you just blew up to many cars and was on the edge of becoming a badsport? That being said modders are still around and soon there will be more then ever on last gen and i'm pretty sure they can mass report you into badsport. However you never get a full month of badsport on your first visit to badsport.

I wouldn't be surprised if Modders could put in a mass report, they seem to be able to do pretty much everything else.

 

Hate those guys.

 

I made the leap to PS4 a few weeks ago and it's a much better place to be. No flying saucers, no god-mode, no 'invincible' cowards and no getting shredded in a horizontal fan coming out of a 'heist' apartment. Lovely.

 

A modder did manage to make my Turismo disappear after destroying it on PS3. Not only did he/she not have to pay the insurance, Mors Mutual had no record of it afterwards. I had to contact R* to replace it.

 

As far as your predicament is concerned, the scenario I imagine, is a modder applying a 10, 20 or 100 'times' number value to their cars. All it would take is one destroyed vehicle and you're in BS.

 

Normally I have no sympathy for people in Bad Sport, but the things that I know Modders are capable of makes me a little more open to some players' tales of woe.
