GTA online Speed Limit?

Hey, I've recently got this problem, that when I enter a truck or bus, it has a speed limit of around 40 MPH, I don't know what this is, but it seems that it won't change gears.

Also, is the Khamelion car supossed to be slow? as it only goes 80mph fully upgraded.

Are you only noticing this on certain vehicles?

 

Also, what console are you using?

I'm on ps4, and yes only on certain vehicles, like the prison bus, and all the vans during the series a heist

Nvm, the karuma and the khamelion are just slow.

 

But the vans however still cant reach 40+

Utility vehicles (Pegasus only) can reach max 45 mph on a straight road. Downhill, that's just another thing I suppose. THe kuruma/karuma is actually fast, but the Khamelion can reach only 95 mph when it is fully upgraded. Happy speeding, mate.
