Twitch raffle isn't fair for those outside usa (time zone)

Those outside USA (time zone)

 

 

So r* keeps doing these raffles that is semi convient for those in USA. But outside USA it's not for example 5pm est to us in jpn is 7am in the morning. That's one example another is 5pm est is 1:00 AM Saturday, in Saudi Arabia.

 

This isn't fair. Basically this raffle is for those living in USA.

 

I know some work and still that's wrong that you guys don't get a chance and we are in the same boat as you. But us folks from different parts of the world are sleeping by then do you think we are going to stay up at 1am or waking up at 6am for a stream?

 

This thing is unfair all around from people who are still at work and those who live on the other side of the world.

There's really no point in complaining as Rockstar clearly doesn't care about our thoughts on this "Twitch Raffle" BS.

All I know about twitch is it's some kind of involuntary spasm. Not sure what that has to do with raffles though.

Does it matter? It's purely cosmetic stuff they're giving out that you can't even wear in real life. If you have an issue with someone other than you winning a digital t-shirt for a videogame that doesn't do anything to their game then you need to tone down the fanboy a bit.

I can understand that it can be inconvenient for others based on their respectable countries and time zones, but I doubt that R* has any care in the world. To R*, it's basically "Hey, you're unable to watch our streams because of your time zone and the country you live in? Tough sh*t for you, friend."

i watched the thing for 10mins with my kid and the f*cking noobs were failing on easy missions like lamar funeral, they failed a couple times and called it quit and started doing another playlist.

Screw twitch anyways. Rockstar is desperate to get people to watch their twitch so they gave some BS about cosmetic sh*t.

I used to use xfire....before youtube, steam and twitch became a thing :/

honestly it was better when they streamed 3pm "eastern" time. now i have to wait for a fkin raffle until 2am to happen. I'm surprised nobody tells them to change the time for europeans

What the f*ck is a twitch raffle?

 

Rockstar sometimes uses Twitch to live stream the latest missions, races, captures ect for a 1 hour show on Fridays (10 PM in the UK 5 PM in the US) & they give away via a raffle 50 T-Shirts that are rare & won't be realised to the general GTA population. The odds of winning one are pretty low given thousands watch the stream & you have to be subscribed & enter in !raffle your console & username in the comments section when they tell you.

The raffle is bs... But the idea is not that bad, 'cause im all for owning something that is not owned by every single other player. Also I'm all for someone owning something that ill never get my hands on (except the duke)

I'm not only talking about shirts, R* should implement more items that are unique, items that are not available for everyone, it would make it more diverse.

 

It's like this:

A:HEY look to you have this shirt?

B:Nah I don't, but its cool, wish I had it, but do you have this ?

A:Nope, but that is a really nice piece you got there.

I mentioned this a week or so ago, it's totally f*cking ridiculous. Totally biased and unfair.

 

Not to mention these "flash events" with no advance warning. I missed 3 hats this week while on holiday in Holland, if I'd known they were coming I'd have asked one of my friends to log in for me.

yea but most people are weak minded or are overly obsessed about those limited edition pixels so they dont care and rockstars plan is working to well.

Not really bothered about these kind of events - I don't know about anyone else but I like to play games, not watch others play them.

 

Once I gave up on the 'gotta have it all' mentality for in-game items I started enjoying my time on GTAO so much more.
