^yes. Or you can try to hold Triangle (PS) to get on the outside maybe? Haven't tried it.

This plane can carry 4 player, 2 seat(pilot and co pilot) 2 people hanging out in the plane.

 

The most funny thing to fly this plane is if your turning angle too much, the passenger will throw out.

Was trying to do this with a friend of mine. In the beginning you were able to hang on the side of the plane while only 1 person (the pilot) was inside the plane. We tried everything we could, but you're not able to hang on the side anymore with just 2 players. Have to be at least three to do so:(

You need 2 players in the cabin to get someone on the outside. Holding the Y/Triangle button with one person inside will force you into a hijack animation and throw the pilot from the plane.
